Destructis
Cool, that means this year I can take a really long bathroom break at halftime. Get rid of some the wings and nachos so I can eat more.
Homercles82
Terrible choice. Halftime shows are a joke now anyways.
corsair_joe
Don't they have a big contract as like the house band of the NFL or something, they play everything.
Skin'emAlive
One of the best halftime moments that I can think of is when U2 played in 2002, just a few months after 9/11. It was pretty emotional, I must say. u2 sucks. They made two songs in the past 70 years. Bono is the worlds largest turd. Their guitarist's name is THE EDGE. ... ExoDus84
I was hoping it would be Keith Brooking giving us his Braveheart impression. You'll never take our FREEEDDDOOOOOOMMMMM!!
pjfootballer
I like all those fogey bands everyone keeps giving crap about. Shows how good they were/are when they can still perform today. Take some of these newer bands/acts and let's look at them 30 years down the road and see where they are. My guess is on the next installment of "VH1's one hit wonders." Anyway, I could give a rats ass about the commericals, the halftime show or which artist will **** up the national anthem with their warbling. I watch the game. Those things are for the casual fans anyway.

BraveWarrior
I'm with those who would like to see ZZ Top. It makes sense from a geographical perspective, since the game is at Jerruh's Death Star in Texas this year. I don't give two ****s what someone thinks is more relevant. The BEP are more relevant with who, casual pop fans who follow what's trendy? **** that. ZZ Top has relevance and credibility in the music community that the BEP will never have. Let's see them, or any band of their ilk, have the long succesful career that ZZ Top has had.
