MattFancy
There was a segment on the Sports Fix today about this and thought it would make a good thread. So pick your top 3 and we'll see who wins. Mine are: Cooley, Portis, and Ovechkin. I think those are pretty easy to figure out.

Kosher Ham
To me great athletes are more entertaining. I don't need a T.O. or Chad Johnson. Give me a Gary Clark or Rod Strickland, maybe even Chris Webber.
SKINS@THEGOALLINE
This from the NY Times, John Riggins had apparently had enough. So the Washington Redskins fullback stretched out and went to sleep. By then, according to an Associated Press report, most of the guests at his table agreed, Riggins had done his part to liven the Washington Press Club's annual salute to Congress, which drew more than 1,000 journalists and local celebrities to the Washington Sheraton Wednesday night. Riggins provided one of the evening's most memorable moments when he called across the table to the Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor : ''Come on, Sandy baby, loosen up. You're too tight.'' Riggins, who complained of back pains during the dinner and at one point asked for an adjustment to his chair, got up and walked around, kneeled next to Justice O'Connor's husband, John, then dropped to one elbow and finally stretched out altogether, poking his cowboy boots under a guest's chair. One guest said Riggins had slept for about an hour, first on his back and later on his stomach, snoring occasionally. After the speeches were concluded, Riggins was roused and escorted from the room. GhostofSparta
Didn't read the OP, my bad. I only voted 2: Cooley and Riggo. Cooley is entertaining both on and off the field. Riggo has his moments that still make me laugh. I might consider Portis...but really his most entertaining year was '05, between the magic on the field and the characters off it. Don't follow any of those other guys enough to consider them entertaining. And KH: you might wanna be careful around here about calling Cal a "DC Sports Figure." These Nats fans are insane, and they might come after you for befouling their fandom with an Oriole.
