He may pull back, but his momentum the wet turf takes him through into the back of Benteke and his knee clips his foot. Any player would go down as soon as they feel that contact. Regardless of whether he's pulling out or not he contacts him. As you admit. Soft it may be, but your player is an idiot who cost you the game. On Benteke who was going nowhere. Unlike earlier in the year when we had a horrendous injury list and the same 13 most every game, we now have far better options to rotate when needed. Curious he wasn't in the starting XI Yeah, like my elder sibling said above... you have to prioritize at this point in the season. Europa League is our best chance at getting into Champion's League next season.
