Mark The Homer (MTH) asked me to start a thread with this info and keep it running the rest of the season. Player info is my own input.

Tailgate Club (TGC) info for 12/6: Saints

TGC Alumni: Roy Jefferson and Carl Kammerer

Jefferson was a WR who played for the Skins in the early 1970's and played in SB VII. He also played on the Colts team that won SuperBowl V and played for the Steelers before that. He tied for 3rd in receptions in the NFC in 1971. He also lost 13 yards in the 1971 playoff game vs SF on a reverse that President Nixon had supposedly suggested the Redskins run. He also had a starring role in the movie "Brotherhood of Death".

>> He also had a football card of himself that he signed and gave to me.

Carl Kammerer was a DE who played from 1963 - 1969. He played LB for SF before he came to the Redskins. He had a card in the 1968 and 1969 Topps football card set.

<< Jones had a picture of him sacking Roger Staubach that he was signing.

Mike Nelms : DB/KR - 70 Greatest Redskins - Played 1980-1984.

http://www.redskins.com/gen/articles/Mike_Nelms_1454.jsp

Nelms played college ball at Baylor and played in the CFL before five seasons with the Washington Redskins,1980 to 1984. Nelms is a three time Pro Bowler (1980, 1981 and 1982) and led the NFL in yards per kickoff return twice. He was the Redskins starting punt returner in Super Bowl XVII. Give Away Item - ** Redskins Hand warmer/Muff with strap ** (this is the most unique and probably my favorite item I got this year)

AAA Give Away - Helmet magnets and key fobs. They did not care if you were a AAA member or not and they did not care how many you took. I think they just wanted to unload all the stuff they had.

Full Rack Pork Ribs << Good, but the ones I had were cold.

Italian Sausages w/Peppers

12/6 - TGC Post Game update:

TGC Give Away Item - Redskins jersey bottle koozie

AAA Give Away Item (must be AAA member and have your card): Redskins helmet magnet w/ small AAA logo on it. AAA also raffled off a Jason Campbell signed Authentic XL Jersey. I think this was a new promo for them.

I had Roy Jefferson sign a mini-helmet (R helmet from 1970-71) and he threw in a signed card as well.

I don't think the cheerleaders ever performed, though I did see them walk through.

Given the weather, the water for the hot chocolate was warm/hot. BTW, mix in a packet of dairy creamer with the hot chocolate packs....mmm...creamy.

The gumbo was pretty good and there was some shrimp in it. My brother and I did however each get a stone cold hotdog that neither of us could eat.

If you were cold, the game room was the best place to be except you can't take food or drink in there. Definitely worth going in the game room just to warm up if for no other reason.

I won't be at the Giants game, but will post info here the week before.

BTW, the last time I checked there were plenty of TGC passes for $20 from Great Atlantic Travel (see thread in the classifieds section) for the Giants game.

I will be at the Dallas game and will have a full report.

I have never seen TD Club passes for sale

Neither have I.

I was in TD club tent twice last year and I noticed some people were wearing TD club id card necklaces.

It must be one pass per seat for the STH to retain for each game all season, since we never see them for sale.

Homer?

Homer?

I used google and found this listing. Looks like the guy did not have them in his hands yet when he posted this:
