They're trying to get you going before the season even starts. If they aren't smart fans with actual football knowledge, ignore them. If it's an Iggles fan, remind him of the nice, clean sweeping they endured at the Skins' hands last season. Actually we've had Devin Thomas and Malcom Kelly for a year now....there's nothing formidable about them. Total agreement about the RT though...we really do need one of them. You should be safe on that bet...I don't see them making the playoffs with that offensive line, but you should be on the safe side of 4 games. Campbell has question marks and isn't exactly endorsed by the FO. Portis is one year older. Our Rookies were miserable this year. Will Orakpo struggle at a new position? All reasonable questions. Many fans right here aren't sure how good we'll be! Seriously, why does it matter if your friend, co-worker, or someone from ESPN thinks we'll suck? We'll find out the answer at the end of the year. But, you let that guy off the hook. The Redskins could indeed win only 4 games (I don't think they will win only 4 myself), and if they do, it probably won't be because of the secondary. You should have made some sort of bet that included the secondary (Defensive rank, INTs, etc). You could be right about the secondary, and still lose the bet. They of course discussed Philly, and Dallas, and then the Giants. Guess what? They did nor even MENTION the Redskins! My older bro lives near Philly, he watched the show, and this is the truth. It was as if the Redskins weren't even part of the division! Not even a mention! Ha! Our Skins have beaten the chumps in Philly 3 times over the past 2 seasons.....so the joke is on them.
