skinswin=happy
Can someone with insider take a look on the espn hompage and tell me what the article that says owens/santana moss in dc is all about
TorresA
Where to, T.O.? Terrell Owens | Cowboys | Interested: Redskins? Raiders? Jets? Giant? Broncos? Now that the rumors have become official, and Terrell Owens has been cut by the Dallas Cowboys, the guessing game begins as to where he will continue his NFL career ***Non-skins stuff*** With that in mind, several receiver-needy teams emerge as possible candidates. The Washington Redskins do possess a 1,000-yard receiver in Santana Moss, but Moss had a tendency to disappear at times during 2008 and would likely be better-suited to a No. 2 role. Owner Dan Snyder has relentlessly proven that he loves chasing big-name veterans, and really the only issue would be finding some more cash to lay at the feet of Owens given the monstrous contracts already dished out to Albert Haynesworth and DeAngelo Hall this offseason. It's hard to fathom the potential for entertaining post-game press conferences with Owens and one of Clinton Portis' many alter-egos, and Youtube viewers eagerly await such a circumstance. Unfortunately, it would appear now that the Redskins are out of the running, as ESPN's Chris Mortensen says that a team source has told him "No way" in regards to the team signing Owens. ***Non-skins stuff***
Rufus T Firefly
It's just the Rumor Central blurb from earlier where they speculate on where Owens could go. It's pure guesswork, and they list Washington, Denver, Oakland and the NY teams as teams that may have been interested. They updated it to put in Mort's "no way" quote from a Skins insider. da#1skinsfan
I love the egos on these guys. "the only issue would be finding the money to do it" "by the way a skins "insider" (www.redskins.com, big insider) tells us no way" Kinda contradictory? To me the only reason he disappeared is because we had no legitimate threat besides him and he was double-teamed.

Which is pretty close to the point that ESPN was making. A #1WR should be a factor regardless.

Da Truth
I love Santana's ability like the next man on this forum but he is really a TRUE #2 and ARE is just a slot receiver
Chump Bailey
The strongest heck no to T.O. came from Redskins VP of football operations Vinny Cerrato. "[Owens's representatives] called us three years ago before he went to Dallas, and we didn't have interest then," Cerrato told the official team Web site. "Why would we have interest when he's three years older now? We have no interest."
dwbiggs
JC is not enough QB for TO, much less TO and SM. He doesn't see the field well enough or make the hard throws...reference the TD pass from Roethlisberger to Santonio Holmes in the SB. As soon as JC starts missing a wide open TO enough times he will start throwing JC under the bus. At least Romo sits to pee was enough of a playmaker to make the difficult throws. Rufus T Firefly
Even with a corner and a safety covering him all game? Yes. Look at all the WRs who had better years than him. Don't you think those guys were double covered?
