And then a strange thing happened-I took the time to actually listen to them...OK, only after Mrs. 06 all but challenged my manhood, but I digress. Turns out they're not nearly as left leaning as the right would have us believe. They do an excellent job of providing in-depth coverage and they really do give both sides of the issues. In short, listening to NPR gives one the "why" as well as the "what".I commend you for an openmindedness that's all too rare these days, myself included.But I'm wondering. If NPR had been hardcore left-wing, would that really have made them corrupt? And likely pedophiles? Would the same hold for Fox News, since they've had problems with kiddy porn themselves? Yusuf is right. A lot of the critics of NPR judge the book not even by the cover, but by a second hand reiteration of its detractors/competitors statements.
