tiger187126
I don't think that makes a huge difference, our passing offense is laughable and you know that the Gmen will gear up to stop CP. We can't score points against Seahawks and Lions, scoring 2 offensive TDs against the Gmen D will constitute a minor miracle. you need to score exactly one more point than your opponent does to win. ask the chargers because they score a lot of points, so does new orleans. well unless your the eagles, then you just have to score the same and wait for that second overtime
SkipJackSkin
makes me feel a little better. but their offense, as potent as it has looked, is not really what worries me. What worries me is their d-line and pressure on JC.
mithong1
no plax is HUGE for the defense... he's their only receiver that would require safety help. Now we can really focus on the run.
emor09
ok, with no burress we can man up on the outside with NO HELP over the top lets load the box and force Toomer to beat Springs and Smith to beat Rogers
Hitman#21
alot of injuries for both teams, funny that the Giants Offense is beat up while the skins d is beat up.
JoeSkins
I'm curious to see the game more than anything, considering Campbell's number of practices and games in Zorn's offense has increased exponentially. I'm pretty skeptical, but does a win over the Giants really seem so impossible to everyone?
alex2792
And what did you call our win against Dallas and the Eagles? Miracles? Abberations? Could you at least wait to see if we play poorly before pissing and moaning? There is a difference between being a realist and being a coward and you've crossed that line. No, we played better at the start of the season because nobody had the book on Zorn and JC. Now that the defenses have figured us out we can't score against even the worst of teams. MustangSteve
E. Manning 19/35 216 yds 0 td 1 intman i am scared out of my mind right now! Who are you trying to convince that Eli can't put a game on his shoulders? The man proved it in the SuperBowl and against the best defense in this league this year, being the Steelers. SkinisRed
Yeah I am but that doesn't mean I'm blind to the fact that we can't score points. We will have to score AT LEAST 24-27pts to beat NY and with their defense and pass rush I can't see us scoring more then 1 TD. exactly. some people just don't think straight. we are trying to be real. It is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG shot for the skins to win. However, they did win legitimately by playing hard and creating luck.
zCommander
i think we have a much better shot now that plax is out. I found this to be an interesting comment: "Two of Eli Manning's best statistical games this season have come without Burress. You can make an argument he is better without Burress because he spreads the ball around more instead of forcing throws and hoping Plax makes a play."
