These cap hell threads are funny. We have been in cap hell the past 5-6 years and nothing has happened. What a worthless thread this is!

We cant get a big name because of our cap? Ya right.

We will have plenty of money to sign 2-5 vets and possibly 2 big name FAs.

And like most of the FAs you sign, once they get paid they will do dam near nothing for the team.

Well, that happens with coaching change. It would be just as uncertain if they had promoted Williams or Saunders.

Thing is, Danny is getting all the heat, but it was Gibbs who put us in this tailspin by his surprise retirement. No one seems to want to say it, but the man screwed the team with that move.

Agree that JG put us in the tailspin. But remember, he only had ONE YEAR remaining on his contract. It should NOT have been a surprise to anyone associated with this team that he left early. Go back and look at the press conference with JG & ds upon their return from Florida after the death of Sean. JG all but said it was over for him. If I could figure it out at that time, ds is a moron for not seeing it. JG all but came out and said this was it for him.

ds is the top dog in this organization. It's HIS responsibility for having a plan in place, not JG's. I agree JG should have done a much better job at: 1) Having young asst's on staff to mentor as potential successors; 2) having young players on the roster to groom; 3) Assisting in having a plan in place for his eventual retirement.

JG has improved the situation in 4 years. Is it great? No. He could have done

much, much worse. So that tells me it's ds that is the problem.

Stupid, stupid personnel moves the past 4 years continue to handcuff this team (Lloyd, Archuleta, etc.) And let's not forget big $$ contracts to #3 receivers like ARE (etc.). Good player(s)? Yep, but not worth the % of the overall payroll for situational player(s).

ds is incapable of leading this team to the highest level we saw when JKC owned this franchise.

No. Sad to see that our collective expectations have been lowered to the point where the team can have a couple of miraculous runs at the end of a couple of seasons and we all sit around high-fiving each other saying "We made the playoffs! SKINS RULE!"

One and done is enough for ya? This team pays more for players and coaches, and charges more than all but a couple of teams, yet some are satisified with making the playoffs 2 out of 3 seasons.
