Trippster
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I haven't seen a thread on this anywhere. Now that Zorn is OC, do you think Buges stays on as a coach? The reason he came back was Gibbs. Do you think he'll stick around, or does he ride off into the sunset too? bulldog
Unless Williams gets the job, Bugel seems headed to retirement on the ranch.

chaz13
I would think Zorn would want to keep Buges. Why wouldn't you want one of the best O-line coaches of all time on your staff?
CHUBAKAH
I think he goes to the Kurt Bush team. Someone's going to have to keep him in line.
JerseyBach
Buges did a spectacular job this year. (I know, the Seattle game was a disapointment) I hope he stays. If not, thanks Joe. I thought the dirtbags was a stretch, but you did build on unity.
Clinton Portis # 26
Most likely gone....Wish Ray Brown would still be available
terpskins10
I'd say he's gone unless GW gets the job. And even then, I could see him still gone.
bulldog
Agreed. Redskins should not have let Brown go to the Bills. He appears to be a guy with the personality and aptitude to be a very good assistant coach in the NFL. The Bills are really becoming ex-Redskins central with Dockery, Royal on the line and Brown coaching them
isle-hawg
Bugel can turn coal into gold, Heyer. Let's hope he stays but if not. Thanks Buges for all you have given this organization. Well said!:applause:

Baculus
I just do not see Buges staying, but hopefully we can find an up and coming coach for our OL. I wanted us to get Alex Gibbs after he left Denver, but he is now the Assistant head coach/offense of the Titans. We'll see!
freefalln
like many others, i appreciate what he has done for the redskins both in the past and most recent.. his loyalty to the burgandy and gold is far and above what most money grabbing, upward mobile type coaches are in this era of nfl football... the story of him answering the phone when gibbs II called and said lets go home is the stuff that makes us older fans get the chillbumps...i realize that this game has passed me by, no loyalty to fans(gouge them every chance you get dan), the players are going for broke with nothing but contract and agents to worry with... as fans, i think we worry and frett more than we should...but... but buges brings to my mind a pleasant memory of glory past...seeing him on the sideline with the real hoggs...confering with bostic...looking up to jacoby...it is like watching an old charlse bronson movie, you knew it would end okay! i would really like to see him someday down here in the va beach area and give him a manhug for what he has done to put those trophies in that showcase! he is a what gibbs would say " a true redskin" !!
