Coach Williams
Anyone care to comment on the passport-substituting mechanism being established for 'Canada, and other Western Hemisphere countries' in relation to the North American Union? Is there any denying the obvious correlation between the two? They are all the same......the EU gave IBM the technology to make all the EU + NAU chips readable for continental travel. Anywhere you go in Canada, Mex, USA, or in Europe they are all the same..... eventually the other countries will be requesting the technology. Only 4 countries in the world currently are lagging behind with the RFID/global ID card system.
Coach Williams
I have a chip in the magnetic card that I use to get into my building at work. It doesn't mean that the government can track my every movement, it means that I am authorized to get into the building. Why would it be any different for passports? Because your boss isn't these guys:
Coach Williams
You mean returning us to the way things were a few years ago, when you didn't need a passport to go to Canada or Mexico? I do remember that as being a very scary time indeed. Check out that link I gave if ya haven't already..... essentially, this world is going to turn into a giant nazi germany " papers please" system. Because it's not just your place of work that this will affect; it's a national mandate that all citizens carry it. How is that a free country? This is part of a blueprint for all to be under control in a downright Orwellian future.

I do remember that as being a very scary time indeed. I feel like it's a significant issue that we are facing, and the utter denial you have concerning these issues is...your business. skinfan133
I have mine in hand.Where is it, BTW? upper left corner of the front underneath the blue, its a thin microchip thingy. be careful if you remove it, tampering with your passport like that is against the law since your passport is federal property. if they catch you, you'll serve some time for sure or pay a big fine. Predicto
Well, Predicto, I think it's sad as well, when people are so judgemental of others raising concern about the state of their country. Some concerns are real. For example, we do have a health care crisis in the US and global climate change is a real problem. Some concerns may be real but are unproven. For example, Bush may have known there were no WMDs in Iraq and invaded anyway. Some concerns are silly. The World Trade Center was not brought down by our own government, and there is no secret plot to take away American soverignity. To conspiracy theorists, these things are all equally true. People may feel strongly about something, but that doesn't mean that what they say is immune from examination and ridicule.
