MTechnik
So many times Cooley is used BRILLIANTLY in the beginning of a game. Then the 2nd half comes, and we can't seem to find him. Why does this keep happening? I am in philly and because of trees I can't get DirecTV, so I couldn't see this game.

Rdskn4Lyf21
Other teams adjust at the half...we don't unfortunately.
MTechnik
Cooley had 89 yards in the first half, but didn't get any more in the 2nd half.
CRobi21
Its hard for Campell to throw while he's on the ground.
RedskinzOwnU
We also stop throwing the ball in the second half due to our insurmountable 3-7 point leads. We are often in run-the-clock mode after the 30-minute mark, and we stop trying to move the ball - thus we stop calling plays that involve Cooley. KDawg
Meaning we go into "Run the ball even though we're averaging 1 yard a carry" mode. Tough to get receptions when we play scared.
Redskins>Cowboys
Here's why..... Going to Cooley early and often = offensive production = a lead at halftime... (follow me here) Halftime lead = The lightswitch in Gibbs' head that says "time to get conservative" "Time to get conservative" = run the ball up the middle into oblivion in the second half = blow the lead = loss. p.s.- You should pull a Dan Snyder and go saw those trees down. MTechnik
p.s.- You should pull a Dan Snyder and go saw those trees down. I would, but I don't just need my trees down, I need neighbors' trees down.
skinfan2k
We start playing obvious. Bring in 2 Dl lineman who we will never throw to.. We send 1 man out on routes. Kendall and Fabini cant keep up with their blocks
Rodriggo
Teams do something the Redskins fail to do, they adjust. Amen brother. We do the opposite. When the opposing defense begins to predict our rhythm on offense what do we do? The same exact thing the next time, and the next, and the next, etc. 1. Run for no yards. 2. Pass for less than 10 yds. 3. Incomplete pass. 4. Punt. Ugh.
Redskins>Cowboys
I would, but I don't just need my trees down, I need neighbors' trees down. They weren't Dan Snyder's trees either, they were the federal governments. He couldn't care less.
teddy
I concur with the above posts. We don't go to Cooley cause he doesn't run the ball. Gibbs could have a 1 point lead at half time and go into that bullsh!t run, run, run, in the second half. Gibbs your 1st stint in Washington was great and thanks for it, Your second needs to end NOW!!! Resign effective immediately.
devinici
When the O-Line fail to protect the QB, Cooley is forced to stay in and pass protect.AKA the J.Witten factor thats what happen to Witten last year.
NVskinsfan
What happened to the 2nd half offense period???
ATCRedskin82
They stop throwing to him.... Its pathetic. I am truly fed up with this coaching staff. Cooley seemed like one the few guys who came to play today...
