skin_finatic
It is so amazingly unbelievable how one person effects an entire defense. He leaves the game, our defense can't stop a damn thing. And I can't believe yall say it Gregg William's fault, Hes not the one blowing double coverage on a long td pass, Or missing tackles and overpursuing on that Brian Westbrook run. Preliou screwed up that coverage and overpursued BADLY on that westbrook td. Please Lock up Sean Taylor for the rest of his life because its just crazy how our defense looks without him. Smurf85
Your right as soon as he left the game. They attacked our secondary like nothing. I still don't know whats wrong with him. Is he going to be all right.

NavyDave
Can't really sign a guy to a contract if he's hurt, can you? Sure you can since its not a career or season ending injury and he is obviously the best player on defense
GrapeApe
That's pretty much my thoughts. As soon as he went out, the Eagles lit up the defense. I refuse to believe that one player can make that much of a difference, but P.P. was attrocious back there on two of their TD's.
SavageForce21
Yep, McNabb started throwing the deep bomb and connecting when Sean went out. Before that they were hesitant to even test us down the field.

Diggs43
i missed it what happened to sean taylor? They didn't say, but as soon as he left the next play was the TD to LJ Smith in the 3rd quarter. We all saw what happened during his absence in the 4th quarter. scotlandtech
He is the defensive MVP, without him the defense looks horrible.
Vi
We knew he was good, but this was just frightening. We've hardly had any long plays and almost none in the deep middle, than he goes out and we have two in a row. That scares me. Gimpy ST was holding our D together and when he left, the game went to hell.

devil421
Part of it was also Williams going back to the stupid prevent defense that DOESNT WORK. Take out ST, go to prevent and it's certain doom. Memo to Williams: Enough with the f**kin PREVENT! All the offensive coordinators know it's coming when the Skins have a lead in the 4th quarter. Hence why the Eagles called the screen to Westbrook. They knew nobody would be within 30 yards of him.

Prosperity
yes, Sean Taylor is a man-bear-beast, but I am not sure his injury was what did us in. Westbrook is pretty much guaranteed one of those a game.

B.S.: The defense hasn't made critical stops when necessary even with Taylor in the game. Remember 3rd & 21 today? Remember the opening of the second half of the Giants game? Remember? Neither side of the ball has a killer instinct and this is a direct result of the coaching staff. If you can't see it, take a deep breath and smell it. Quit B*tching
We definately need to make sure doesn't go anywhere. Give him what ever he wants we need to give a castle and a crown because he is the king of this defense and without him all the villagers are lost. I'm not sure, but I think it was Sean Taylor who stopped him inches from the 1st down. They got the 1st down on a 4th down qb sneak.
skinsngibbs4life
I gave ST A LOT of crap last year for getting beat all the time. This season has shown me that it wasn't his fault, but a result of the rest of the defense faltering. ST is the difference maker on this team, and needs to be a life long Redskins. portisMVP
Lock him up?? WTF? You cannot live and die on a D with one player. Keep him, yes. Crown him now? NO!! He is what I think he is.
