pdryan99
Hello Skins Fans, I need your help with the song that plays just before the Skins come busting out of the helmet at FedEx. It sounds classical and I think its from a movie does anybody know?? Thanks :notworthy

Robbnva
This has been posted before but I can't remember the name of the song. I believe NAS used part of that song in one of his earlier rap songs. Also I would suggest you edit your title because the MODs don't like vague titles. I think it is against the rules. skins fan1010
It's definitely from an opera...not a rap song.

LoudMouth12thMan
Carmina Barana is the name of the opera, the specific piece of music is "O, Fortuna!" Actually its spelled Carmina Burana and you're are correct sir "O, Fortuna!" it is, I think. Orff is the guy who developed the instruments used in schools for kids to learn music...not that anyone else on ES is probably a Music Ed Major like myself:laugh:

Xempt
No one said it was? someone suggested that Nas sampled it, which is a common thing in hiphop(sampling other peoples musics for a beat). so its not far out of reach that it could be heard in a hiphop song
richhilljr
Great call on "Carmina Burana." It's the opening to Carl Orff's presentation, named "O, Fortuna"... I like this version, although there are countless others... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYtVGQ6NSAs
