E-Dog Night
At the end of the 3rd quarter, the score is: Bears 3, Chargers 0. LT has 13 carries for 13 yards. Golly.

E-Dog Night
Spoke too soon - LT just threw, yes threw, a touchdown pass. Kinda sad when you've got to resort to that. Give credit to the Bears though. It seems like they are all over LT before he can get to the line.
praise_gibbs
How about the run for a TD? Slow start against a Killer D.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
What struck me today is how completely limited the Chargers are on offense. If you completely sell out on LT, the only person who can hurt you is Gates. And it's pretty tough for a TE to dominate a game.
praise_gibbs
Tough but possible. Very possible. Gates has done it. Gonzo used to do it. Witten sure did tonight. And Cooley help during the 35-7 wn against Dallas. I do see what you mean however, in that asking Gates to do that 6 or more games in a season will be tough to do. Still possible though. That trick play with LT passing to Gates was sweet.

My point is that without wide receivers to stretch the field, it gets tough for a TE.
pjfootballer
Nothing to worry about here. This is still the same Chargers team in the same offense that put up over 30 points a game last year. 2 Very GOOD defenses. Rex was the X-factor which gave SD the win.
