Reciever Stat Breakdowns

Gamebreaker

Recommended Posts

I'm bored and stuck in the house on medication because I seperated my shoulder playing football. So I decided to play around with some stats get to know our recievers better. Bear in mind, all these stats are from this season only.

If feel alot of fans are mis-informed about what each of our 3 best recievers brings to the table, so I hope this helps clear some stuff up.

ROD GARDNER

43 yards as his longest catch

HOME GAMES - | 37 catches, 546 yards, 14.8 ypc, 2 TD

AWAY GAMES - | 34 catches, 460 yards, 13.5 ypc, 6 TD

vs. Jacksonville - 7 rec. 100 yards, 14.3 ypc, 1 TD

PEERLESS PRICE

94 catches

1252 yards recieving

13.3 yards per catch

9 touchdowns

73 yards as longest gain

(NOTE: Gardner has a larger ypc average. I wonder why people believe Price could be such a deep threat for us)

SEPTEMBER | 28 rec. 367 yards, 13.1 ypc, 3 TD

OCTOBER | 23 rec. 373 yards, 16.2 ypc, 3 TD

NOVEMBER | 19 rec. 187 yards, 9.8 ypc, 1 TD

DECEMBER | 24 rec. 325 yards, 13.5 ypc, 2 TD

(NOTE: For only 1/4th of the season did Price show numbers of a deep threat.)

IN WINS/TIES | 42 rec. 628 yards, 15.0 ypc, 7 TD

IN LOSSES | 52 rec. 624 yards, 12.0 ypc, 2 TD

1ST HALF | 47 rec. 671 yards, 14.3 ypc, 5 TD

2ND HALF | 47 rec. 581 yards, 12.4 ypc, 4 TD

QUARTER = 1 | 20 rec. 173 yards, 8.7 ypc, 1 TD

QUARTER = 2 | 27 rec. 498 yards, 18.4 ypc, 4 TD

QUARTER = 3 | 17 rec. 257 yards, 15.1 ypc, 1 TD

QUARTER = 4 | 26 rec. 253 yards, 9.7 ypc, 2 TD

OVERTIME | 4 rec. 71 yards, 17.8 ypc, 1 TD

(NOTE: Finally, we see some hint of a deep threat here. Only in second quarters though. It's good to see he steps up in overtime.)

WHEN WINNING | 15 rec. 134 yards, 8.9 ypc, 0 TD

WHEN TIED | 20 rec. 242 yards, 12.1 ypc, 3 TD

WHEN TRAILING | 59 rec. 876 yards, 14.8 ypc, 6 TD

(NOTE: This could suggest alot. Is it possible Price has only looked so good this season because his team is always playing from behind. It could also suggest Peerless is perfect fo an offense that passes alot since he's thrived on an offense always playing from behind)

ON GRASS | 41 rec. 466 yards, 11.4 ypc, 1 TD

ON TURF | 53 rec. 786 yards, 14.8 ypc, 8 TD

(NOTE: This could definitely be a problem. His stats on turf are great, but his stats on grass aren't. The majority of our games will be on grass)

LENGTH OF ATTEMPT

Behind Line l 8 rec. 47 yards, 5.9 ypc, 0 TD

1-10 yds | 57 rec. 497 yards, 8.7 ypc, 5 TD

11-20 yds | 20 rec. 461 yards, 23.1 ypc, 3 TD

21-30 yds | 3 rec. 136 yards, 45.3 ypc, 1 TD

31-40 yds | 0 0 - 0

41+ yds | 1 rec. 54 yards, 54.0 ypc, 0 TD

(NOTE: I guess this answers whether Price is a deep threat or not.)

DIRECTION

LEFT SIDE | 36 rec. 583 yards, 16.2 ypc, 4 TD

MIDDLE | 14 rec. 172 yards, 12.3 ypc, 1 TD

RIGHT SIDE | 39 rec. 440 yards, 11.3 ypc, 4 TD

Uncategorized | 5 rec. 57 yards, 11.4 ypc, 0 TD

FORMATION

Shotgun | 42 rec. 683 yards, 16.3 ypc, 5 TD

0 or 1 Receiv | 6 rec. 51 yards, 8.5 ypc, 1 TD

2 Wide Receiv | 16 rec. 172 yards, 10.8 ypc, 0 TD

3 Wide Receiv | 41 rec. 751 yards,18.3 ypc, 4 TD

4+ Wide Recei | 26 rec. 221 yards, 8.5 ypc, 4 TD

Uncategorized | 5 rec. 57 yards, 11.4 ypc, 0 TD

From what I can tell of these stats, Price is the deep threat reciever we're looking for.

Gb. This is a stat lovers paradise here. Okay...number of sites or just one? Now I do have to mention I'm a little concerned here. Apparently the medication you are using is somewhat lacking. I mean shouldn't some of this read differently? Example.

PEERLESS PRICE , ( dude.... what the he** kind of name is that?)

9........uh........9......er......... @$@#!# dude...he had alot of catches.

12.....12........ my man had some serious yards this year.

Or something like that. Thanks for the stats man and take care of that shoulder. ( We do expect a dramatic, game winning Touchdown story with this injury ok?

:silly: )

PCS,

I'm playing football last saturday with my friends, I'm killing them by the way, I'd thrown 9 touchdowns and ran 2 in. We were on our third game, and then this huge sum**** comes out to the field.

Since the other team is obviously lacking in talent(my team had dubbed them the bungles :laugh: ), we let them have the big guy. Now, I'll admit, around this time I was getting really arrogant ****y since they were making me look like John Elway. I guess the new guy took offense to my trash talking.

So they had just scored, and we decided to take the 5. I set up our play, and made sure we had a double team on that big guy. I say hike, and less than a second later I felt this shadow come over me. Before I can take off running, this got blindsides me and slams me straight into the ground, shoulder first. To add insult to injury, he drops his fat #%#@! all on top of me too. I heard a crack, and next thing I know I'm on my way to the hospital.

Now I'm typing with one hand because my left arm is in a sling, and I'll be damned if I ever play QB with those @$^@! blocking ever again!

Anyway......your welcome with the stats. The site Iget them from is one of my personal favorites. Here's the link if you want to check it out:

Ah... a lookout line in front of you. Apparently a few of the Texans lineman stayed behind to play some more ball. :silly: sigh... er...(lowers voice).....um.... next time.. .. it was a tie score when on the last possesion you called you're own number. But seeing the defensive alignment in front of you, you called an audible,( Classic S.S. offense). A bootleg to the left with a very large guy chasing close behind. You pass the ball just as your were hit and ..........well..you know the rest. Beers and supremodels and such. :silly:

Cool site. Will have to make use of it. :cheers:

Thanks again for the stats, GB, and for the site. I love this stuff. Keeps me going in the offseason. Take it easy, get well and get back on the field soon.
