I was thinking about this and while it would be cool, could the Monk hating voters have an agenda? Dallas fans get to go back to back years and as soon as Smith is eligable, he'll be in. They know Monk will go in eventually, could they be taking some of the Redskins limelight off by sending him in at the same time as Green? I don't know, just a thought. pjfootballer Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 I visit the ATN alot and one of the Cowpuke posters (I won't reveal his name-Jeramiah_Johnson) says that Irvin got in because Monk was a compiler and Irvin had the glamorous catches and was a media darling.
