Mackdaddydean
Last Night I made a $100 bet with a friend (I live in Cowpuke territory) that the Redskins would finish the season with a better record than the Cowboys. He said there is no way that the Redskins will do better and that Wade Phillips' record in his first season as a head coach with a new team is really good. Can anyone confirm this? And would you have taken this bet?

Thirtyfive2seven
I wonder if puke fans trash a coach one day and then when said coach becomes their HC they praise him.
BMahoney
I made the same bet with one of my close friends down at school, I got two more out their against the g-men and the panthers as well. Lets go Skins!

pjfootballer
It's Bad Karma to bet for your team. I'll never do it, but I hope all of you guys win a bundle this year.
ttr77
Personally, I wouldn't have made this bet. They were 4 games better last year. A lot of things would have to go right to overcome that deficit.
chaz13
I'd rather put $50 on each game between the skins' and cowboys. That's what I usually do.

Flycoach
Phillips is a joke. I'd have taken that bet in a heartbeat.

And would you have taken this bet? You did fine! I have TWO bets out there, with a Giants Fan and his boss at the office. With the Giant Fan...when we finish higher in the NFC East that the Giants he owes me lunch and has to wear my Redskin Jersey in the office the entire day. With his boss (his boss doesn't have a team) it's lunch because he's sided with his employees. I went so far as to PROMISE we'll finish higher in the East than the Giants. Rawdawg
I live in Chicago and work with a bunch of Bears fans that think it's still 1985...I love the Skins and all...but I can't make that bet. The NFC North is too weak...the Bears will steamroll again.
Rawdawg
I'll probably bet the game between the Skins/Bears though...I'll be there too...cheers to Grossman throwing deep picks over the middle of the field to Sean Taylor!!
