Rage, which broke up when singer Zack de la Rocha left to begin an uneventful solo career, topped the U.S. pop album charts twice in the 1990s with releases steeped in leftist politics and anti-corporate tirades. The group's reunion gig was the most-anticipated performance of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the desert town of Indio, about 120 miles east of Los Angeles. The three-day festival drew 60,000 fans and took place in temperatures reaching 103 degrees Fahrenheit (39 Celsius). -------------------------------------------------------------------------- While I'm happy about this, I hope they get in the studio and start dishing out more jams. This is one band that I can get past the obective of heavy political aggression, and just enjoy the energy and mega-riffs they display. Congrats for them! codeorama
With the war in Iraq, they should have lots of song material for a new CD... :paranoid: LOL... Rage is an awesome band, even if I don't agree with their political leanings, they rock.
Oldskool
As a band they are technically one of the best rock bands around. The problem I have is with their whole message, especially Zack De La Rocha. They are just whitebread Bourgeoisie Socialists to me. :2cents:
