Soup
I haven't seen anyone talk about how the redskins are dominating the rest of the teams on this list. The cowboys are third, imagine if the Redskins did win the superbowl the team's value would sky rocket. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2006/30/06nfl_NFL-Team-Valuations_Revenue.html

nebster21
HaHa the patriots knocked the cowboys down to number 3. Of course from what I hear after the stadium is built they will beat us.
zoony
Holy crap... on Op Income, it isn't even close. $108 mill? The next closest... the Texans at $57.6 million. Looks like a solid debt/income ratio too, when compared to the other franchises. Anyone look at Green Bay? I think the NFL has itself a great system when teams like that can compete with anyone across the board.

Disegn
Does Operating income refer to the drinks, food, and trinket sales in the stadium? Maybe they are the only team selling $2 beer and hotdogs two for a dollar.
Rudy165
Does Operating income refer to the drinks, food, and trinket sales in the stadium? Maybe they are the only team selling $2 beer and hotdogs two for a dollar. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT), also known as operating income and operating profit, is a term used to describe a company's earnings. A professional investor contemplating a change to the capital structure of a firm (e.g., through a leveraged buyout) first evaluates a firm's fundamental earnings potential (reflected by EBITDA and EBIT), and then determines the optimal use of debt vs. equity. To calculate EBIT, basic expenses (e.g., the cost of goods sold, selling and administrative expenses) are subtracted from revenues. Profit is later obtained by subtracting interest and taxes from the result. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating_income
HEavyJumbo85
Well ain't nobody said Danny Snyder didn't know how to turn a buck...It really isn't even close. We have a big market and a pretty substantial fanbase and of course Danny charges an arm and a leg for a small soda, not suprising we're at the top of this list.
