The $10.5M signing bonus helps to ensure that he'll see more than half of the money in the deal which will pay him $15M over the first 3 years. Not surprised that Dan Snyder was willing to give him a long term contract because he oversigns everyone then releases them prematurely. Fletcher is not going to a very good defense. They were the worst in the league last year. I guess as he said on his last day at One Bills Drive. He had to be selfish. I hope he's happy.
