Hooper Posted February 21, 2007 Share Posted February 21, 2007 dude, portis playing with worse o-line play early in the season combined with a horrid shoulder injury managed to pu up more TDs than betts did, and betts rushed for 1100+ yards. thats just not right. But at the same time, Betts is a much better receiver out of the backfield -- something that opened up the offense big time. And if he played a full season like he did a half season, he would have rushed for over 2000 yards. Wow. Look, I love CP. No one plays harder and is more fun to root for. What I don't get is all the hate for Ladell on this board. Sure you would like to see him work on holding onto the ball more, but the guy stepped up huge last year. And all the haters better get used to seeing him on the field, because I'm telling you, he is going to push CP for time next season.
