Aside from the name being inherently racist-this team has blasphemed what we fans have come to know and love as a "redskins.". These millionaires-coaches included (with a few exceptions) have none of the character or will that we have admired from former players. We have hit the bottom- I say let's get rid of the "red" and call them the skins-because folk we have gotten skinned-as players on the field and as fans who have paid big bucks to see bush league football. However, they arent named redskins either, which is like a derogotory term im honestly so pissed at the skins, even their team name makes me mad. I'll summarize for you so this thread can be closed: Some feel its racist. Some of them are native americans. Some feel its NOT racist. Some of them are native americans. Dan Snyder does NOT feel its racist, and he owns the team. The name stays until he decides differently. End of discussion. This thread is closed.
