GibbsFactor
The weather might actually help the Eagles passing. Wind is only 11mph and the wet conditions usually help the offense more since the receivers can plan their breaks. I hope it's a down pour and passing is affected, I just don't think it's going to. The Sir
Eagles throw the ball 90% of the time it seems, so it definitely favors us. Still have to be very aware of the screen passes, those won't be hurt that much by the rain and wind. But we'll need our Olinemen to play like men for any of this to matter. da#1skinsfan
They were forecasting heavy rains beginning early afternoon....still no rain here though. Without question, rain helps our cause. Biggest matchup today is Donovan vs our secondary....lets ALL cross our fingers for rain. Correction: just starting to lightly drizzle....
Oldskool
Portis is fine now. He isn't even listed on the injury list anymore, and should be good to go Portis is dealing with and will continue to have side effects from his high ankle sprain. Those don't go away until you stop applying pressure on them, aka stop playing football. Just because your not listed on the report, doesnt mean youre not dinged up. Number5
Sure the weather will affect both teams.... 1 - It will force the Eagles to run. 2 - It will force the Redskins to run. Both teams know what the other has to do....so its about which defense can stop the other... the X-Factor will be when it's 3rd and Long....which QB can make a play.... jeronimobrat
You know the Giants and the Colts were not playing altogether to well before their bye, but they both came out of the bye flying. Regardless of the field conditions, we will have our hands full. :applause: So very true! I'd like to think that our fortunes have been reversed! :logo:
