Bubba, what are we supposed to do about the defense? Past trading deadline, so what FA do we sign or who do we sit. There are no easy answers that I can see to the worst Skins problem this year.

So it would be nice, for a change, for the O to bail out the D. We spent heavily on offensive playmakers and MB doesn't even know what they look like. The season is shot, so we can kill two birds with one stone now instead of sacrificing next season too. Play JC, if he doesn't look like he can cut it, we'll at least know what to do with our one remaining draft pick. It is short sighted, IMO, to not look beyond this debacle of a season.

Yeah, but Bubba some percentage of it is Brunell. 40, 50, 60%. It's hard to say until you make a change. If the Skins make a change at QB and go backwards, then the Brunell supporters can say, 'told you so'. You can't tell how Saunders offense will work without making a change. It can't get much worse then 2-5 and losing to the Titans.

Literally not, but he certainly contributes to the overwhelming fraction of the game that the defense spends on the field.
