Washington Redskins (2-4) at Indianapolis Colts (5-0)

Sunday, 4:15 ET, CBS

Surface: FieldTurf. Sheridan's line: Colts by 9.

Keys to the game: Preparing for a trip to Indianapolis is a bad time to have nearly half your starting defensive unit sitting out midweek practices. But that's the dilemma Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams faced, and his porous secondary will be without CB Carlos Rogers. Expect Williams to watch plenty of tape of how Tennessee limited Indianapolis to 14 points two weeks ago by limiting big plays and forcing QB Peyton Manning to engineer long drives. Washington also needs to control the clock and shorten the game, which is very doable against the league's worst run defense. The Colts acquired DT Anthony McFarland from Tampa Bay on Tuesday, and he should see a lot of action Sunday. If RB Clinton Portis has success running, it sets up Washington's spread passing game.

Fast facts: Redskins: Joe Gibbs needs a win to become the 12th coach with 160. Colts: Seek to become the ninth team to start consecutive seasons 6-0.

TV announcers: Dick Stockton, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver

Injuries: Redskins: Doubtful: CB Carlos Rogers (thumb). Questionable: DT Cornelius Griffin (hip), DT Joe Salave'a (calf), WR David Patten (thigh). Probable: CB Shawn Springs (groin), LB Marcus Washington (hip), LB Lemar Marshall (ankle), G Derrick Dockery (hip). Colts: Questionable: LB Rocky Boiman (knee), DE Dwight Freeney (shoulder), LB Gilbert Gardner (thumb), CB Kelvin Hayden (ankle), CB Marlin Jackson (calf), DT Dan Klecko (back), DE Ryan LaCasse (quadriceps), G Ryan Lilja (knee), WR Aaron Moorehead (back), DT Montae Reagor (knee), DT Darrell Reid (calf), RB Dominic Rhodes (ankle), CB T.J. Rushing (lower back), S Bob Sanders (knee), C Jeff Saturday (lower back), P Hunter Smith (groin), WR Brandon Stokley (knee), DE Josh Thomas (ankle), TE Ben Utecht (back), K Adam Vinatieri (groin), WR Terrence Wilkins (concussion).
