RiggoReincarnated
It's not good at all. If you let a team hang around long enough you are going to get beat. NY with Tim Lewis as DC traditionally has given up lots of yards but not that many big plays and points. Im surprised Philly only has 14 after the way they've moved the ball effortlessly. RiggoReincarnated
Man 5 sacks allowed in the first half.....giants O line needs some help I wonder if Broderick Bunkley is the factor thats made the Eagles defensive line look this brutal. TXREDSKINS44
I wonder why the giants have not run the ball more? They have only ran the ball 8 times for 22 yards.

RiggoReincarnated
The Eagles O line is giving McNabb all day to throw the ball! I know...last week Indianapolis has a very good line and still the Giants were able to get pressure on Manning. Today they are just getting owned in the trenches. Yeah your right, If your going to make Eli pass this many times then your chances of winning are not good.
SantanaClaus89
Anyone notice how LaVar is getting ripped apart in coverage?? They're not even rushing him at all this is great

True, I'd try more outside sweeps with Tiki, cause they sure as hell aren't getting penetration in the middle. It also looks like the Eagles are stacking the box and daring Manning to beat them...and other then the first drive...he hasn't.

laurent
I wonder if Broderick Bunkley is the factor thats made the Eagles defensive line look this brutal. Bunkley hasn't really seen too many snaps. The Eagles have a ton of depth so they can shuttle guys in and out keeping the big uglies fresh. RiggoReincarnated
The giants D should not be tired, the time of possession is Giants: 13:52 Eagles: 15:44 Sometimes its more mental...the more their defensive line plays and gets zero pressure...the harder it is for them to believe they can get pressure. Especially when the Eagles OL is the biggest size-wise in all of football. That's why its so important for the defense to set the tone early. Last week, if we stop Minnesota on their opening drive on one of their 3rd and longs...thats the ballgame. Its more important IMO for the defense to set the tone early then it is the offense...from a mental psyche perspective.

RonBurgundy&Gold
I'll say this much, I'm glad we're playing Dallas rather than Philly in week 2. Philly looks good, but its a loooong season.

If we had stopped the Vikings on that opening drive the game could have turned out differently. That's why tonight its going to be crucial for us to stop Bledsoe early, especially on the road. Remember what we did to him the first offensive series of the game at Fed Ex last year? It set the tone for the entire game. Same with the Bucs in the playoffs. Big Weirdo
Stopped by to say that I am enjoying the game so far. We should be up by more but I'll take the 17-7 lead. What up laurent? He's the only who got the balls to come over and chill with some Igglephans!
eagles78
I'm still a little nervous. We should be up by more than 10.

Yeah, I'm glad we will have Springs back for Philly. Traditionally with GW we have always struggled against the WCO because of the agressive nature of our defense. Eagle091
first half, all eagles, 2nd half to go. gotta continue to dominate. the lines for the birds are kicking arse. watching the giants d-line sucking wind so hard is almost comical. need to finish them off in the 3rd qtr. put them down and rack up 10 sacks.
