Califan007 The Constipated
Needs 24 comp to reach the 2,600 yd mark. I'm guessing you meant the 2,600 comp mark...lol As for the rest, I'm not sure why those "milestones" are of significance, though... Brunell having 2,400 rushing yards for his career??...Um, ok. Moss needs two more TDs to have 30 for his career?...That's nice. Cooley needs 2 more catches to have 110 in his "career"?...Weee. Taylor needs 4 INTs to have 10 INTs in his "career"?...Alrighty, then.

Rdskn4Lyf21
As for the rest, I'm not sure why those "milestones" are of significance, though... I agree. None of those are huge milestones, although they are small, interesting things to look at in slow times such as these.
Califan007 The Constipated
Sorry, just thought I would put some stat's out there. never said they were jaw droppers! Guess I'm just trying to figure out why, though...lol...usually it's because some pre-set milestone of significance may be within reach during the season and we're being made aware of that fact. The only significance I can see, though, for most of these mentions is that they all end with a zero...lol (seriously, is Cooley having 110 receptions, as opposed to 108, really something to keep our eyes on?) Califan007 The Constipated
Hence why they are random Maybe it was the "Sorry if this has been posted before" comment that gave the random stats that came afterwards more importance and significance than they warranted...lol

moondog
Needs 24 comp to reach the 2,600 yd mark.I'm guessing you meant the 2,600 comp mark...lol As for the rest, I'm not sure why those "milestones" are of significance, though... Brunell having 2,400 rushing yards for his career??...Um, ok. I'm not sure if it's 2,500 yds (which is very attainable for Brunell) or 3,000 rushing yards, but either way 30,000 yds passing and 2,500 yds rushing...trust me Brunell will be joining elite company that I'm pretty sure only a handful or two quarterbacks have ever reached in their entire careers. Even if I'm far off on the record books, 2,500 rushing yards is obviously not that big of a deal to attain. Vick has reached it, so has McNabb and several others. McNair is almost at 3,500. But the fact that Brunell has already reached 30k through the air, and only need 101 yards on the ground to reach 30k and 2,500 is a pretty big deal. That, along with many of his career accomplishments really surprise and impress me. I'm not a huge Brunell fan, in fact I worry about his health and his potential to fumble the ball as well as move it quite often. However, I think Brunell is more than deserving as our starting qb and I'm proud to have him, and I think 2,500 yards is an accomplished milestone for his career, because he has also combined that with his accomplishments through the air. :applause:
