jimster
Redskins Rookie Released From Hospital http://sports.iwon.com/news/08112006/v1727.html ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins rookie Kili Lefotu was released from the hospital Friday, two days after becoming ill and losing consciousness in his room. Lefotu, an offensive tackle, visited Redskins Park after being released from Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. He did not talk to reporters. "He's feeling better," trainer Bubba Tyer said. "He's just a little weak from his two days in the hospital. All of the tests came back. The doctors feel he had a seizure, but the tests weren't conclusive." Lefotu will be monitored over the weekend at the National Conference Center, where the players are housed during training camp, and will miss the trip to Cincinnati for Sunday's exhibition game against the Bengals. Tyer said Lefotu might be able to return to practice on Tuesday. Lefotu was found ill in his room after he failed to show up for Wednesday night's practice. He drifted in and out of consciousness before he was taken to a hospital. Lefotu, 22, was a seventh-round draft pick from Arizona in this year's draft. waterwagen
Glad he's out of the hospital but I'm sure he'd feel better if he had a conclusive answer to what happened to him. I'd feel a bit like a time bomb, walking around not knowing what might set that off again.
