Cheers, Beers and Mountaineers
i saw a commercial a couple days later for HSN and NFL Shop involving a family wearing redskins jerseys in a restaurant filled with cowboys fans. at the end of the commercial, the mother (and narrator) jumps up and down yelling after you hear that the redskins scored a td in the background. Grimm
Also, this doesn't really count, but I love it: I have a bootleg video of the band Clutch, who are from Maryland/D.C., playing a show in Dallas. At one point, Neil Fallon (vocalist) says something to the effect of, "I hear you guys have a football team around here." Obvious cheering ensues. Then he adds, "Yeah, well we're from Washington, D.C., and we have a football team of our own." Boos cascade as he grins. Makes me proud. Thats awesome, Clutch has always kicked ass, but that makes them rule even more :applause:
Eparadox
There was an old Quantum Leap episode that took place on/near an Indian Reservation, where the main Native American guy talked about the Skins/Cowboys the entire episode, and of course rooted for the Skins. Coolinrastaboi
There is a great movie with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt about CIA spys (can't remember the name of it.) Anyway, in one of the first scenes, Robert Redford says he "won some money on the Skins last night". I'd like to win some money on the Skins one day.
