CrazyZeb
Searched and didn't see this posted yet. This is pretty funny, this guy sold a defective laptop on eBay. The buyer who was screwed in the deal removed the hard drive and found tons of personal information on the seller, then posted it to the web. Goaldeje
That's crazy. Remind me to never sell anything on ebay unless I am absolutely positive it works perfectly. Mercy.

rictus58
or...don't send your personal info with it or.... dont try to scam people. The end of the article says he sold an iPod to somebody and it never arrived to the seller. Seems to me he makes a habit of this type of stuff. Zguy28
You reap what you sow, as the old saying goes. Always scrub you hard drive with a DoD approved utility.
GoCommiesGo
I would say that if he sold a bunk laptop and left all this info on it, he's a moron and this is a little thing I like to call Karma.

stevenaa
You reap what you sow, as the old saying goes.Always scrub you hard drive with a DoD approved utility. And know that a DoD approved utility only truly wipes the drive after it is run 7 times.
Zguy28
And know that a DoD approved utility only truly wipes the drive after it is run 7 times.Actually the standard for Defense is 3 passes. But most good ones can do 7.

APBT
goaldeje already covered that thought Well I am going to cover it as well. This guy got what he deserve and he is lucky that this is the only thing that happened to him. Ebay is a scam magnet. Ebay will turn its head for the almighty dollar, until someone gets hurt. It always takes a bad accident, before a traffic light is put up.
