Realisticly, I would go with Watson if he falls in the mid-2nd round and give up our 1st round pick in next years draft for him. He is a yound Sam Adams. I would then take Danieal Manning, CB. The guy is rising up the charts. If things fell that way. I'd be a very happy man.

Folks, you need DF to be the SB winners. Looks at Pittsburgh. They thrive on it and won it because of it. We signed a key FA from them that helped them to become champions. We signed another WR that was being wasted in SF and brought him here. We signed a DE that was being played as a LB and should have never been. We signed a very good safety, a young John Lynch to play along side of S. Taylor and if we can possibly sign those that I have proposed, I think we have a DF that last for the next 5 years that can't be beat.

Abdul Hodge, ILB, Iowa

Height: 6-0 3/8 | Weight: 236 | 40-Time: 4.76

Strengths:

Very quick and athletic...Hits like a ton of bricks...Sure tackler...Has been very productive throughout his career...Has great instincts...Very strong...Hard worker with top intangibles...Gravitates toward the action and seems to always be in the mix...Displays solid technique...Thumper in the middle...Smart and a team leader.

Weaknesses:

Does not have the type of size in terms of height that you would prefer, but has a solid build...Can do a better job in coverage...Does not look real fluid when dropping back on pass plays...May run into more resistance when it comes to taking on blocks at the pro level than he did in college...Needs the right scheme.

Notes:

Has a young daughter...Brother is a freshman LB at Wisconsin...Other than lack of size it is not easy to pinpoint many glaring weaknesses with this guy...Excellent prospect with just the right blend of physical tools and collegiate production.

Weaknesses:

Suffers from bouts of inconsistency...An underachiever who doesn't always play up to his talent level...Needs to work on a refining his technique as he will overextend and get sloppy with his footwork at times...Needs to his the weights and get stronger...Not very physical...Doesn't always finish & may not be nasty.

Notes:

Father Ray enjoyed a short stint with the New York Jets...In terms of measurables and physical tools this guy is the total package and the majority of his faults are correctable...Has the potential and ability to be a top left tackle in the NFL.

Needs to add some weight and continue to bulk up for the next level...Must improve as a run blocker...Struggles with massive defenders and can get pushed back...Is still developing and not yet a finished product...Doesn't always play with proper leverage and knee bend...Did not always play against elite competition.

Notes:

Lightly regarded recruit from North Pole, Alaska who entered college at 235 lbs...Very raw coming out of high school and did not play football as a sophomore or junior...Started every game of his college career...Has the physical tools and natural ability to play the critical left tackle position in the pros which is coveted

Unheralded player who didn't get much attention due to the talent around him but could surprise...Actually beat out Devin Hester for the starting cornerback job...Has all the tools you look for in a corner and could soar up boards in April

I would draft tapp from tech. He is very underrated and could definatley be an asset to the defense especially on 3rd down situations. Even though he is a little undersized he plays with good quickness and has excellent technique.

Darrel Tapp, most emulates characteristics Joe Gibbs and G.W. want. High motor player with Ronnie Lott work ethic on and off the field. Leader, with top intangibles. Makes up for his size with excellent technique. The guy all around defines high character. Plus Va Tech players are becoming known as special teams stallwarts in the nfl...another huge Joe Gibbs plus. The guy always plays as if he is the underdog. His size gives him just the chip on his shoulder to motivate him to succeed. His formative years at tech Bud Foster had them playing scheme oriented-teamcentric gangtackle-defense that is almost as agressive as GW's and displayed a knack for turnover points, something we desperately lacked at the beginning of last season. The guys only downside is his size and with his work ethic and high motor it is almost an advantage for him. Plus we need some va tech in the locker room to back up Prioleau and keep Moss, taylor, and portis honest.
