jrockster21 Posted April 2, 2006 Author Share Posted April 2, 2006 Reminds me of South Florida...every year the Land Crabs do the same thing...not in those types of numbers though. But there's a bar called King's Head about a mile from the beach...they're all over. They get in the door crack and then get crushed when the door is opened...crazy. You see tons of squished crabs on the road...they're all over the place. As far as eating them, I know the Bahamians eat land crab, but there's not much Bahamians don't eat. But if you are going to eat them, you have to keep them for awhile and feed them lettuce and healthy stuff to clean out their systems.
