Skinned
I think the infield is awesome, but I think the outfield is weak and where is the starting pitching (other than Clemens and Willis)?
dg28daman
How did Mike Timlin make the roster?!?! Good to see the Cheif on there though.
TheDoyler23
I think the infield is awesome, but I think the outfield is weak and where is the starting pitching (other than Clemens and Willis)? The Sir
Everything looks real strong to me except the outfield. Outfield isn't that bad though.

rincewind
So does this mean Clemens is definitely playing? And if so, does that mean he's playing MLB next year?
Rypien 91
USA is pretty strong, but the DR is very strong. If you get a chance, check out their roster... :notworthy
Mickalino
but the DR is very strong. If you get a chance, check out their roster... :notworthy That should be no surprise.....that's where the best MLB players come from.
MidwayMonster31
My "where are's?": Tim Hudson, Mark Buehrle (!!!), Paul LoDuca (Canadian?)Hudson had injuries from last year. Buehrle pitched over 260 innings last year, and he had sore arm problems, so he backed off. LoDuca most likely chose not to play. The international players are worried a lot less about injury than the American players.

cadets08
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/worldclassic2006/news/story?id=2330568Could we not have done better than this?? Pretty weak IMO... Actually considering the World Baseball Classic is voluntary, and it's so close to the season. I think that list is pretty good considering that these athletes are all talented, and they are willing to risk injury just for the glory of their country. Derek Jeter, Billy Wagner, A-Rod, and Johnny Damon are some pretty big names IMO.
