WHEN Art Monk makes the HOF today, we should organize a group trip to the ceremony...

P.S. Chris Hanburger should be in also. Former Skins great. 9 time pro bowler.

I'd like to add Dave Butz and Joe Jacoby to the list of Redskins who should be in the Hall. Butz is the most overlooked player. Butz should have gone in before Howie "My media buddies love me as much as they love Lynn Swann that's why I'm in" Long and Dan "I'm in because of Mike Singletary and Richard Dent" Hampton.

Hail,

H

To me the Hall of Fame is like the Pro Bowl. Too much of a popularity contest.

Monk should be in, but does it really matter that much?

In my opinion, it does in the sense of getting acknowledgement, but it doesn't at this point for Monk because he's already been slighted, and he's obviously deserving. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves, or is ignorant to his accomplishments and contributions.

The issue should be resolved as soon as possible, but for me, it won't repair the harm to the HOF reputation and imprimatur that's already been incurred.

Really, paying any amount of money to see the supposed "Hall of Fame" that Art doesn't get inducted into on a yearly basis...

seems too pricey. Count me out of any trip to Canton.

I'm not making any plans to ever visit Canton. As was mentioned in another thread though, I would support a Redskin Hall of Fame building or some such, if they wanted to charge a few bucks for entrance.

That would be fine with me, and I would hope that there would be enough Skins fans who see the ridiculousness of the Hall at this point to have a similar situation to my own (avoid Canton, support Skins only).

You got OWNED.

Your assertion was based on what besides anecdotal evidence at best?

...you are making no sense...

I was simply starting a thread about packages for 50+ people to go to the HOF ceremony and game which follows. If Art got in, wouldn't it have been nice if some Extremeskin fans could have greeted him there???

How I got owned because Art didn't get in is beyond me???
