Om
Just for the record ... The NFL Divisional Playoff weekend is my favorite weekend of the year. Bar none. Four televised games. No pretenders -- eight solid teams. Great story lines for all eight teams that we’ve been following all season long. Weather’s crisp. Beverages are crisp. Wings and such are hot. The calendar has been cleared for total guilt-free gridiron immersion. And, as if it all that wasn’t enough ... guess who's back in the mix? The Washington Redskins. God help me, I do love it so. That is all.
zoony
I was wondering last night if there has ever been a divisional playoff that featured all 4 games as re-matches from earlier in the year. ......

SkinsNut73
I agree. This has always been my favorite weekend of football. Four games. All usually end up being competitive...at least more so than the Super Bowl or Championship Games (in certain seasons).... ....with the Skins in makes it even that much better.... skinsterp
Just for the record ...The Washington Redskins. God help me, I do love it so. That is all. Hopefully, we won't have to slap some shell-shocked coward who doesn't have faith in our General and troops. I love it as well.
Neophyte
God help me, I do love it so. Thank you, General Patton. Yes, with apologies to Santa Claus and children everywhere, this is indeed the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
MLiverpool
I am amazed by this team. They just don't give up. Against Tampa, it could have gone the way of the Raiders or San Diego games earlier in the season(pre winning streak). Offense sputters in the second half, and the defense gives up just enough for the Redskins to lose. But they didn't. What G.W. has done on defense is amazing. The players executing it is a thing of beauty and destruction. I don't know the outcome of this weekends game, but if any team can upset the football gods, make history and keep thumbing their noses at the media... it'd be these Redskins. They are a confidant and determined bunch. I'm very proud of them. Go Skins!
Heidenreich
January is always the best month of the year. Wild Card weekend for easy money (3 for 3 this week) Divisional weekend for some great games. The fact that this is the first divisional weekend in six years that I won't be gambling on all 4 games makes it all the more sweeter. 4:30 Saturday can't come soon enough....... SkinzFan007
there was a decorated general with a heart of gold, that likened him to all the stories he told of past battles, won and lost, and legends of old a seasoned veteran in his own time on the battlefield, he gained respectfull fame with many medals of bravery and stripes to his name he grew a beard as soon as he could to cover the scars on his face and always urged his men on all the men held tall with their chests in the air, with courage in their blood and a fire in their stare the men stood fast with their guns on their shoulders not knowing what to do with the contradicting orders the general said he would do his own duty but he would extend it no further the men could go as they pleased not a man moved, their eyes gazed straight ahead till one by one they stepped forward and not a word was said and the old general stood with his own words echoing in his head he then prepared to fight.
