bulldog
Brunell gutted out a tough day on a bad field with a knee most players would not have played on. he managed the game and didn't make the killer mistake. if that is the worst performance for your qb over the course of a season then you are doing OK. To me the goats were players that made mental mistakes, guys like Rock Cartwright ripping the Eagles' helmet off on a return and causing the defense to lose 15 yards...... or John Hall kicking the ball out of bounds to give the Eagles the ball at the 40 yard line at a critical time of the game. DCNightHawk
Game Ball:Portis Linebacker Core ST Goats: Redskins 1st 1/2 I agree. Our gameballs goes to Portis, Moss, Linebackers, and Taylor. Our goats was the whole team for the 1st half of play. Great win though, the playoffs are going to be fun!
Warhead36
Oh yeah forgot about John Hall. I'd say to add K to our list of FA needs.
Brave
Philly was OBVIOUSLY accounting for Cooley. Can't bame them there. Brunell threw some bad passes but he also made some plays that led to the win .Give him credit where credit is due. Not a great game for the Skins ... and they still score points and win. Feels like the 80s baby!
bulldog
the 12 yard scramble by Brunell late in the fourth quarter to get the first down and run another 3-4 minutes off the clock was crucial. you have to give the guy credit for making a play that you know he was ill-prepared to make given the condition of his knee before the game
method man
Oh yeah forgot about John Hall.I'd say to add K to our list of FA needs. No. Just looking at him, you can tell he is still pretty injured. When he's healthy, he is one of the best in the league. He seems to injure himself whenever he tackles someone on a return. It's up to Danny Smith to put him in a position to stay healthy
DarrellGreenFan
Brunell didn't have his best game, but he wasn't a goat. He set us up for two scores with deep balls to Thrash and Moss. But most importantly, he didn't make any major costly mistakes- which is typically what you have to avoid to ensure beating inferior teams such as Philly.
