MidPennSkin
The other poll on this subject only had 2 choices, and I'm curious as to where some of the other Redskin QBs rank, in the opinion of the board. Also, I never did a poll before, so here goes.
Bostic Hog
Where's head bangin, neck breakin, Gus Frerrote? I would have to say that my favorite (not necessarily the best) would be Joe Theismann, even though he's a Golden Domer *PUKE*
FedEx_Skinz
What? No Heath Shuler what kind of poll is this....LOL
s0crates
I always liked Brad Johnson. It made me mad when we brought in Jeff George.
FedEx_Skinz
Yeah Jeff George was horrible, what was sad is when Brad left us took Tampa to the SB and won. He would have taken us that year (1999) if our kicker wasn't such an idiot.

Mania
Theisman played under Gibbs and won a SB, so I voted for Theisman even though he wasn't the best Redskins QB ever.
NYSkins1
I haven't really lived long enough to give a viable opinion, but I really liked Trent Green and Brad Johnson. I was so mad when we kept Jeff George over Brad...that was the beginning of the downward spiral for us.
Henry
I grew up watching Theismann. I know there have been better QBs in our history but I picked Joe.

George was a disaster, then we had to make do with Banks. We would have gone to the playoffs that year with Johnson as QB.
ZoEd
I wasn't around for Kilmer but my Dad, a lifelong fan, thought Kilmer was the best so I picked him. No way in hell I could pick Joey T the way he always bashes the skins and picks the Cowgirls, not once but twice. BOOH on Joey T!
ouvan59
I guess this shows how young the posters are here. Anybody who ever saw Sonny Jurgensen play would instantly list him as #1.
cphil006
Sammy Baugh is the greatest 60-minute man to ever play the game.

olive19
Sonny was one of the greatest QB's ever to play the game. Never had a good D and unfortunately played for Allen...who despised him. Sonny told Allen in so many words that Allen had no clue about offense nor about quarterbacking...hense Kilmer who was no Sonny!! Kilmer was a tough sob and a decent QB but there was no comparison. Sonny is in the HOF and the only way Kilmer gets there is to buy a ticket to bring his grandchildren. The great Lombardi only coached one season and said Sonny was the greatest QB he ever saw and this from a guy that had HOF-Bart Starr!

melonhead1959
My favorite is Sonny Jurgensen. Great competitor, and the BEST passing arm I have seen to this day.
Guest peele
I am not old enough to have seen most of these guys play so for the time I have been watching I voted for Rypien.
E-Dog Night
Three people picked Jay Schroeder. Hmmm. I say that the best thing Jay Schroeder ever did, besides leading the Skins to a win against the Giants after Theismann broke his leg, was being just good enough to entice the Raiders to trade him for Jim Lachey. Gotta be the best trade for in Redskins history. Yes, even better than Moss for Coles.
33
Even though I never saw him play, it's hard to not select Baugh. He won us our first championship. He was the first player ever inducted into the HOF(because it went alphabetically). He also is often picked by so called experts as the best player of all time(Steve Sabol being one of those). Plus I have his throwback jersey.
olive19
I am going with Doug Williams.... WHAT??????? You have to be kidding me...he had a great arm and a unbelievable second quarter in the Super Bowl...aside from that he was marginal.
