ratbert_rizzo
http://greenbaypressgazette.packersnews.com/archives/news/pack_23933981.shtml The Green Bay Packers claimed Rod Gardner off waivers. They got 2 weeks to decide whether they like him or not. He was even worse than I thought in Carolina. Just thought you would like to know and wondering if anybody thought he was worth a waiver claim. :packsuck: :packsuck: :packsuck:
gonefishing
In my opinion Gardner has the size and speed but his hands are his weakness. Bruce Smith nicknamed him 50/50, as in the odds on him catching the football.
gridironmike
Or the odds with him sticking on a team depleted by injuries.
cyfar
*looks at thread title* I kinda figured that he had a little sugar in his tank with the fact that he always wore hoop earrings during the game. *reads first post* Oh, you mean't Green Bay Packer? That still doesn't change anything.
Chachie
They bring in Rod and bench Brett. Looks like they definitely DON'T want a passing attack for week 17.
Mickalino
The picked him up, so he could help the Packers get the 1st pick in next years draft.

inPORTISweTRUST
I think we should give rod another chance in D.C. i think he has really benn humbled and would give a great effort here. Remember he was decent 2nd receiver for many years and wasn't that bad featured. Give him another chance as a 3rd receiver. Rod would be the prototypical receiver we are looking for bigand strong too go across the middle.

Skinned
Yeah, that just tripped me out because I saw in the NFL.com live boxscore that Favre just threw incomplete to R. Gardner. I had no clue they had picked him up.
Skinned
He is out there alongside Driver and just caught his 1st pass for 11 yards.
