skinsfanjoe
After having a cable modem installed monday and shortly thereafter running spysweeper on my computer I found something called trojandownloader.conhook on my computer. After trying to remove it with two different programs it still refuses to go away. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Joe
stevenaa
It appears that Ad Aware can get rid of it. You can download Ad Aware from Cnet.com http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tag=srch&nid=1&qt=ad+aware&tg=dl-20&search.x=19&search.y=
HOF44
If adaware doesn't get it try Ewido. Its catches alot of things adaware does not. http://www.ewido.net/en/
herrmag
If none of them work, google it. I've yet to obtain a virus/trojan horse that I couldn't resolve through my friendly neighborhood nerds

herrmag
Spybot run it with Ad-Aware. Are you sure Spybot will get it? I'm not a big fan of it. I'd go into why, but it's too complicated for me to type tonight.
