Hail_to_the_Redskins
Why? The second wild card will come from our division: Dallas will finish 8-8...look at their schedule....NY, KC, us, SD, then the Rams..... NY will finish 10-6........ Us??? beat STL, AZ....so we are 7-6, then well beat Dallas and Philly, not NY .....That makes us 9-7..... This will happen and we will be in the playoffs.... boobiemiles
You have to give reasons my friend. I think it can happen if Griffin, Thrash, and Betts come back. We have been missing one or all of them the last three games. Injuries has been our biggest problem this year.

God...why are you people so negative??? It's football, It's fun....root for your team until the very end. C'mon guys, we still have a chance. Would you guys want all the players to give up like you have? The other thing is, you guys act as if we have been blown out the last three games. We took 3 tough close loses. It happens people. We are still alive and are very capable of beating anyone left on our schedule. Geezus.

Even if this happens, you guys probably will still be out of the playoffs. Your best case scenario is Tampa Bay wins the NFC South seeing that they own the first tie breaker over you guys. After that you can probably throw out having a better record than Carolina, they probably won't go 1-4 to end the season. This leaves you and Atlanta for the final playoff spot. Atlanta already has a 2 game lead and you would need for them to finish 2-3, but according to your scenario that would leave you guys with a confrence record of 9-3 versus their confrence record of 6-6, so you would get in over atlanta. And even if you guys manage to 4-1 and atlanta goes 2-3, you have to worry about the Vikings who will probably go atleast 3-2 and will end 4-1 if they can beat Chicago, in minnesota. RedskinzOwnU
are you nuts? dallas will beat KC and the Rams. Thats 2 wins right there. As for their game with us thats pretty much a toss up.
Mr. Nostril
If the redskins play at their best they will win all 5 games. However, try to find a 5 game stretch over the past 10 years where the Redskins played their best.

hogs1fan
We won't make the playoffs we have given games away. We lost to teams we should have beat. If this was last year yeah I think we would have a real good chance but the NFC has gotten a whole lot better this year. I still had hope untill we lost on sunday but now we just threw it away. And if you want to be truthfull we never should have been in overtime it just is that their kicker put us there. The season is over once again so now I will root for them till the end of the season and look forward to the next season like I do ever year. It is time to stop dreaming. pjmjr123
10-6, 10-6, 10-6. If we get 10-6, it will be the best record we have had since 1999 when we were the NFC East Champs! I will take a 10-6 record any year.

Hog Lover
We'd have a shot at 9-7, provided we beat Dallas again, I agree. That being said, I see us finishing at 7-9.
tlk2rn
9-7 is not going to get a wild card. Weren't St. Louis, and Minnesota both 8-8 last year along with Seattle who was 9-7. Dont lose hope man. It is along shot, but anything can happen. If we lose to St. Louis Sunday we are in trouble but can still go 9-7. If we lose another one after that then yes, lets hang it up. rshepard
1989 - We were 5-6, finished 10-6. It can be done. All of the games left are tough (for us), but winnable. Time for December magic under Gibbs. Just like when the herd's comin' in - looks like a mess until all the cattle are in their rightful place. skinstzar
I hope you are right, but seriously, your thread lost all credibility in the first few sentences. Dallas already played SD and they beat them. In their house.
