According to The Potomac News, Sergeant Tim Neumann says investigators don't have enough evidence to support allegations that some of the teens acted against their will. The newspaper reports the students were supposed to be practicing with school-sponsored athletic teams when they were spotted by a janitor in the auditorium on September 28th. The Manassas City school board has sent a letter home to parents saying the students "gathered freely and voluntarily" in the closed and darkened room at Osbourn High School. Authorities say the case will be reopened if additional information becomes available.
