I poured my water in the machine, dropped in a filter and some coffee grounds and off I go to the computer to check the morning news, check email, and eventually consult the to-do list for today. I can smell the coffee brewing --smells so good-- so I go back to the kitchen to pour a nice hot cup. Upon arrival, I notice that I forgot to put the carafe in its place so coffee brewed, alright - right all over my countertop and into the floor! To make things worse, the filter wigged out and got distorted so that coffee grounds went all over the place and out of the machine - onto my countertop and floor - as well.:doh: So I made a pitcher of iced tea instead.
