newskinsowner
Which offseason had you pumped up the most? 2002 after watching the Osaka ambush (35-7) on San Fran? or 2004 The expectations of Joe Gibbs righting the ship in year 1?

Heidenreich
My hopes are high every year. This year is no exception. One of these years (this one) I won't be disappointed....
fuji869
2004 and the Return Joe Gibbs. He is a proven winner in the NFL and once led us to glory once before. I did not like Spurrier and knew that the 35-7 win in Osaka, Japan was just a preseason game where most of the points were scored by back ups and guys that were going to be driving trucks for UPS or selling insurance in a couple of weeks. :soapbox:
BIGGS_DADDY
2002 hands down! Although I was excited about coach Gibbs return last year, I expected it to take at least a year to see some results, as far as the record was concerned anway.

TXREDSKINS44
I would go with the return of Job Gibbs. That was an unbelievable feeling!!
OrangeSkin
Probably Gibbs for me as well, but if you really want to know, this place just exploded with excitement after Osaka. We were all positive we'd have an unstoppable offense, and shunned the backups argument made by opposing fans. Don't believe anybody who tells you that they weren't totally pumped after Osaka.
