No, I know how to use discernment. First, when has EB ever had info? Second, if a QB at one of the biggest schools in the country with one of the most expansive and well connected football programs is considering entering the draft there are tons of better/more formal ways to get info than asking your friend to ask someone. On top of that, the notion that he was holding a grudge for it after he asked (yet decided to stay in school and work hard to improve)? You can believe what you want though

They're best friends. Him, Rachaad White from the Bucs and CJ Stroud are his close friends. However since Daniels played for an actual former NFL coach with a ton of connections (Herm Edwards) amd talks to him once a week and is very close to Antonio Pierce who was actually on an NFL coaching staff - I would assume he would ask them before being like "Ayy Brandon, can you ask your GM to break down my All 22 and see if I should qenter the draft"... We are getting into silly season. Not only would that be something done more formally than asking Brandon Aiyuk but LSU is a massive school with tons of connections to evaluators and the NFL who could formally look into that stuff

I don't doubt what he said. I am sure a lot of podcasters/PFF guys, etc just got the All 22 and had opinions on it. However Mark Bullock has had the All 22 for weeks as has Zierlin...so I find it hard to believe they had it before the actual league evaluators did? But I do believe that most of the people that Hoffman talked to just got it (besides Jordan Reid, Zierlin and Matt Miller who actually work at NFL/ESPN) LOL. I was wondering how long it would take before that account showed up on this thread. I'll let someone else tell yall why this account is terrible.

Except even Caleb Williams acknowledged that its cool for him that Chicago has the #1 pick even though they weren't the worst team in the NFL. Them having the #1 pick while also going 7-10 and having pieces makes it a good situation I am not even sure what the debate is here after the Bryce Young Panthers situation. Nobody wants to be drafted to a situation like that. CJ Stroud said it, everyone in the media has said it and raked Tepper over the coals for it.

Do yall honestly think Lamar Jackson would rather have gone top 5 to a terrible team and made more money as a rookie over ending up in a really good situation in Baltimore? I do not. Do I think he would have liked to have gone higher? Sure. Do I think he is more thrilled about the situation he landed in with that organization and Harbaugh? Absolutely.

This is insane!

I think we know they will all go where they are selected. I think the point is that whether they are the 1st pick or 3rd is mattering less and less because more people are realizing its all about the situation you are drafted to that largely determines your success. And he said it to Simms and Florio when they asked him about people talking about him possibly going #1

I think if they can't, Fields would probably be their backup plan. So much is going to depend on Kirk Cousins. Well its also because look at Mahomes! He wasn't the first pick but he went to a GREAT situation with a hall of fame coach, all pro TE, tons of weapons and had repeatedly been to the playoffs. Compare that to Mitch Trubisky's situation. I am sure Bryce Young would have rather been the 4th QB picked and gone to a team like the Titans who had Henry and DHop over that terrible situation in Carolina with that atrocious offensive line.

From everything everyone has said Fields is a last resort for Falcons. Its Cousins, then the draft and then if neither of those work out the way they want, then maybe they look into Fields. I just think Fields is like the 3rd choice for most teams and might end up in more of a Trey Lance situation -

Jayden made it very clear that he does not care at all about being picked 1st or 3rd or whatever, he just wants to go to the best/right situation so, aside from his relationship with AP, the Raiders and Falcons are great situations. Caleb even said, while he wants to be #1, the cool thing about Chicago is they went 7-10 last year which isn't usually the case with teams drafting early - they're not a terrible team in some massive rebuild and they already have guys in place. I don't think it was a coincidence that JJ McCarthy was talking up the Vikings so much and KOC. He knows that is a good situation. I think QBs are starting to care less about being the 1st or 3rd pick or whatever and care a lot more about the situation they are going to (not that they have a say).
