  1. The latest is that Atlanta is not interested. The report Benjamin Allbright responded to said that there is not one team that is really looking to trade for Justin - not Pittsburgh nor Atlanta. There are other free agents like Kirk Cousins that teams are interested in. Atlanta, Minnesota, Denver and Vegas all see the Justin Fields situation like this: 1. Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannehill or see if they can move up to draft a QB (Atlana is expected to go after Kirk aggressively first then the draft, Raiders want to trade up) 2. If neither of those options work out then maybe teams consider Justin Fields
  2. I don't care about JJ's frame as much. He's shorter than Daniels and skinnier but he can fill out. He seems like a smart, enthusiastic kid but he would absolutely need to sit behind a vet. 100%. Throwing him out there to start would be absolutely insane. I am more concerned with putting the offense in his hands when he seemed to be in a system where Harbaugh had full control. There is a big difference between that and this. Did JJ ever call plays at the line of scrimmage?
  3. Yeah this is a non issue. He was just observing. Also all these meetings are only 10 minutes long, teams are not getting a ton out of them.
  4. JJ McCarthy is a likable kid. I think he goes top 15 but man its a risk taking a guy who had such little control or say in the offense. Draks Maye went to the podium early because MHJ didn't show up
  5. Yeah, this is what I suspected. JJ likely had very little control in that offense
  6. I mean the podium stuff is just players being asked basic questions "How did your interview with team x go" "Great" "What QBs do you model your game after" "Why did you start playing football" Boring stuff that teams do not care about. Its mainly just for the media.
  7. I am moreso referring to people who claimed they heard teams were big on him at the combine and there was no way he wasn't going round 1 lol.
  8. Oh I don't mind it being posted, its just funny looking back. I find combine time is usually the time when people who never get or spill legit insider info always get "insider info" and it more often than not turns out to be wrong. Its not just the PFF guys, every year its the same thing
  9. They did! I was just looking back! When people outside of guys we know actually get information (Schefter, Rappaport, Pelissero, Allbright, Schultz) start saying they're "hearing" things, i always look back at the validity of things they've heard in the past at the combine. I mean 😂😂
  10. Just a reminder, PFF guys were telling everyone after the combine in 2023 they heard the Malik Willis would go top 10 in the first round and the Steelers might make a "Mahomes-like" trade for him. 😂 They started mocking him in the top 5 in every mock draft
  11. Has this always been JJ McCarthy's throwing motion on deep balls (the 2nd clip)? His arm is going to pop out of socket throwing like this. It's almost like he's pitching the football.
  12. It says he plans to only share his medicals with certain teams. How does that work? What if a team is thinking of trading up to #1 or exploring that as an option? They won't have his medicals or he won't let them see them? I doubt he goes anywhere but the Bears but still, its a bit odd.
  13. Ian Rappaport just said the Raiders, Vikings and Giants are all trying to trade up to a top 3 pick for a QB
  14. Shifting the subject, NFL Network is still talking about us trading up or down and presented these possibilities
