  1. People were actually not pleased with this signing lol As far as teams still calling for #2, and I'm talking teams sitting at a position beyond any viable alternative like the Raiders, (because I know they're desperately calling) they can sell their souls for all I care. Ya not gettin it
  2. Agreed, one of these halfway through the season might be very different answers lol. Hopefully not though
  3. Totally agree with this viewpoint but, for better or for worse, i think having daniels would be anything but boring
  4. I dont think franklin will get past the chiefs at pick 32, especially with potentially losing rice
  5. Look at philly though, hurts get paid and they still keep all their stars. Teams just backload these contracts so they only have to pay them a non-exorbitant amount per year
  6. Having an infrastructure like the bengals or eagles sounds good to me 🤷🏻‍♂️
  7. Yes I’m sure maye has never made a single bad decision or play in any of the games he was in
  8. Isn't that what we were just giving Snyder **** about, that he would make his decision on who he wants months prior to the actual draft then cover his ears without any real due diligence/analysis/weighing on the opinions of his scouts and other personnel?
  9. Thanks, I also wonder what the history of these looks like? (What was Mahomes, Z Wilson, Allen, Trubisky, etc etc)
  10. That's what I was wondering from before with the major injury percentages. Seems to me that most big QB injuries happen in the pocket. Especially, for ACL/MCL, when they've got their leg planted and get twisted down or bent on the ground. Like Theismann and Smith's brutal career-enders. But like someone else said you see it in the throwing motion too when hands hit helmets too. Concussions from falling backward. It can happen to anyone, not just a runner Does someone bracing for a hit while running have a better chance of surviving that hit unscathed than someone completely blindsided from a hit in the pocket?
  11. Yeah but Purdy walked into literally one of the best possible situations a rookie QB could be thrown into. We aren't close to the 9ers in terms of roster makeup, remains to be seen with coaching but Shanny is no slouch there either. Even if McCarthy gives AP Purdy vibes he has to know that Purdy definitely wouldn't have had the same level of success here that he's had in SF
  12. If it was Snyder we would've given up the next 10 years of firsts + #2 + terry for caleb
  13. I’d be interested to see the percentage of major injuries to QBs that happen behind the line of scrimmage/in the pocket vs beyond it. The recent ones that I can think of off the top of my head have mostly happened in the former: purdy UCL, herbert finger, rodgers achilles, kirk achilles, burrow wrist. Three of those guys were untouched. The one outside the pocket was richardson
  14. I have no doubt that he will. Everything I've seen and read says he's a dynamite interview, charismatic, respectful and smart.
