  1. I know that shares are up for Twitter. I know you're mad. I know a lot. So are you excited that your remaining shares are gonna be worth a ton now that Elon owns it? Wish I had some shares!
  2. Musk buying Twitter is the best thing that has happened in America in a while. Don't care if Trump is reinstated or not. Ending the echochamber for one political party is a good thing. Social media does influence the public, so one political parties voice should not be louder than another on it. Enable free speech and let Americans think for themselves and form their own opinions. And if you ban someone you better be clear and public about the reasons for the ban if you want people to trust the platform. The reactions to the purchase from the left only confirms that they know their voice was louder than all others. And those responses/people videotaping themselves literally crying because they think Musk's purchase HINDERS free speech, is actually quite HILARIOUS. God Bless America! What a great day! (Can't wait for the mob to attack this post)
  3. This is where I'm at too Kdawg. Drake London or bust. I don't even want Hamilton at 11 anymore. If they have Drake as WR1 by a mile I will trust the eval of the team and get behind it. Anyone else I pass on at 11 for a trade back. Watson in the 20s and Hall/Walker + LB/Safety/Buffalo BPA as our top 3 picks would be a dream scenario. Or maybe we can sell a team on our interest in Jameson Williams for the trade back.... Hmm
  4. I mentioned his age a while back when talking about Lloyd. Now with medical questions as well I could see him falling further than initially expected. I want to go through the RiggosRag list of player interest and note the players with the most instances of interviews/visits. For instance, we met with Chenal and Watson on 3 separate occasions. Could the multiple instances reflect level of interest? I can only hope so. A lot of players only got one or two instances of interviews/visits. But maybe that's all they need for some players to form their opinion. I've got a feeling in my gut that Watson goes late 1st now. His ceiling will be too much for teams to pass up on when picking from the 2nd group of receivers. GB or KC will probably take him. If Chenal/Walker/Hall fall to 47 and we trade out because we couldn't trade down in the 1st I'll be livid.
  5. Seems like we are in good shape for one of the few trade up spots. We need one of the top 10 players to unexpectedly fall to our pick. Otherwise we are stuck at 11 overdrafting a player like Olave. Yikes. As I've been saying, this is the draft to build the depth of your roster, and take a couple chances on boom or bust players. The more bites at the apple the better. The "15th pick being equal to pick 45" is very telling. So jealous of teams like the ravens that have ELEVEN picks in the middle rounds. They could really take their team to the top if they hit on even half of them with how strong this draft is in the middle rounds. I hope we're doing everything we can to trade down on Thursday. Unfortunately I don't like our odds with so many teams trying to trade down as well. I will keep my fingers crossed. I'd honestly take a trade down that is a little under-value compared to previous draft trades. That's how important I think it is to trade down if we can. One of the top 3 tackles/ Drake London you can maybe talk me into. Hamilton's position value probably isn't worth 11 but if we're forced to stay at 11 there's not much we can do about it. Olave? hard pass at 11. If the only way to get proper value at 11 is take an injured Jameson Williams I think you do it. If the top 10 guys are gone, you don't pass on a top 10 talent because he will miss a handful of games to start the year. Any of these players can get injured in training camp. You gotta take BPA at 11 if we're stuck picking there. The Cowboys might be the only team stupid enough to trade up this year to overdraft a player outside of the top 10 players, and if they are...I would deal with them in a heartbeat. I wish we traded a 2024 2nd round pick for Wentz instead of this year's 3rd. So pissed we gave up a 3rd in this draft, especially if we can't trade back to recoup a 3rd.
  6. From my understanding we interviewed Myjai Sanders. He was on a Street Scores video breaking down all prospects and when/where we interviewed/visited. I've sang his praises multiple times in this thread and think he could be a star in the making with some development. Edit: that Riggos Rag article is the most detailed visits/interview list I've seen to date. Super excited to see both Christian Watson and Leo Chenal had multiple visits/interviews.
  7. Unfortunately we didn't bring him in for a top 30. Which baffles me.
  8. If we traded back and came away from the draft with Watson + Walker/Hall + BPA defensive player at position of need. I'd be over the moon. Watson is the real deal and we will be really sorry if we take Olave over him. People think we need to take a super higher floor player... But with Terry already our #1 we can afford to pick the higher ceiling player. If it pans out we would have the best receiving duo in the league.
  9. I think people are writing him off because of the school he played for. The DK Metcalf situation is similar to how he's being viewed in this draft... Overthinking the crap out of it. How can you not get excited about this kid. He has it all. I think his floor is higher than most give him credit for as well Kid loves to block. Loves the game. One off-season of an NFL WR coach and Terry refining his route running..... Watch out NFL. Mark my words. We would heavily regret drafting a guy like Olave over this kid.
  10. Absolutely fantastic video on Christian Watson with advanced stats that address the common knocks on him: When Trey Lance was his QB... He only dropped 2 passes. Kdawg, highly recommend watching and would enjoy your feedback
  11. Definitely wasn't me concerned with Hamilton's speed. I'm fine with him just question the positional value at 11 as a Safety/Buffalo. Especially when guys like Brisker&Pitre are available later. And the main thing I've said that I worry about London is separation at the NFL level. He does separate, but it's not always, and it's against PAC-12 corners and the competition is questionable there. He's just boom or bust for me. Wouldnt love it, wouldn't hate it. His floor is a big slot who catches red zone balls and jump balls. We could do worse at 11. He could also be Arcega-Whiteside. And I've been on record saying I definitely don't want Olave at 11 either.
  12. @KDawg For what it's worth, 40 time isn't the end-all be-all for me. It's just a piece of the whole picture. The reason why its worrisome for players like London is that it's coupled with film that makes you question if he will have trouble separating at the NFL level. That's what makes you worry. Film always comes first, but you're looking for combine/pro day numbers to back up what you see on film. And I typically focus on 10 yd splits, agility drills, and vert/broad over 40 time. That's why I value RAS Scores so much because I agree, you're looking for explosion and athleticism to change direction, stop/start etc. As an armchair evaluator, Im looking for Film+RAS plus other advanced metrics that uncover potential diamonds in the rough.
  13. Malcom Kelly says hi. Not saying you aren't right. But doesn't change the fact that it's a fast league. 4.5 is on the higher end for skill positions.
  14. Do you have a link to McGinns big board? Or is it behind a paywall? I'd be interested to see it. Also, any chance we have a better insight on Christian Watson due to Wentz's connections with the NDSU program? If Terry has pull with the interest in Olave, I could see Wentz influencing the pick of Watson if we don't go WR in the 1st or trade back.
  15. Not sure if this has been posted but pretty good interview of Ron on the draft. Sounds like QB is definitely in play later in the draft.
  16. I worry this will be the fate of Drake London in the NFL...
  17. Payne is the easiest position to find a replacement for. A run stuffing DT can be found 4th-5th round. If we think we can't resign all of them we should be getting value for them asap and drafting their replacements. I'm also a proponent of drafting a mid round developmental guy at DE that could make Sweat trade-able down the road. Like a Myjai Sanders. .
  18. Please show me examples of William Jackson and Montez Sweat being morons. Unless you're basing it all off Sweats personal choice on the vaccine I think this take is way off base. Does our D need a vocal leader? Sure. But to say it needs complete reworking is nuts. Also you think really highly of a rookie to come in and lead a entire locker room of veterans.
  19. You're also taking for granted our Hit rate on our 1st rounders. Sweat, Allen, Payne, Chase. Davis is TBD.... But that's a hit rate not many teams in the league can match.
  20. Forgetting about Kam Curl, Gibson. And in FA Logan Thomas, Joey Slye Just to name a few
  21. What a Haul this would be. Dax Hill upgrades over McCain. Kenneth Walker and Gibson would be a terror. Leo Chenal MLB day 1 blitzing the A gaps like a beast. Alec Pierce + Terry? Killers. Asamoah lurking like a missile at Buffalo Nickel? Forget about it
  22. All the more reason we need more Day 2 and 3 picks. People don't give our FO enough credit for our talent evaluation the past few years. Both in the draft and free agency.
  23. Happy to see you have Thornton highly ranked. Like him a lot. Also, would you rank Drake London over Pittman or vice versa?
  24. Where is Pierce, Tolbert, Kevin Austin and Tyquan Thronton on your rankings? If you had to rank outside receivers, not slot guys. Who ya got?
  25. Also be sure to check out Tariq Castro-Fields out of Penn State.
