  1. Avengers blip was the scariest thing I will go thru today. Lol Feeling great about tonight
  2. Man is a walking QB controversy. As a dude who is confident in his straightness I can say he is too good lookin'. Get ugly or bust. You can't look like that and be an NFL QB. Its not fair to the rest of us.
  3. I don't see us or the Pats trading out. Final check in on the mock draft world has us taking JD in 75% of mocks over the last week. That's the high-watermark for the entire process. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/mock-drafts/2024/consensus-mock-draft-one-week-2024
  4. Yup Will Levis has the worst protective instinct I have ever seen at QB. Its non-existent. That clip did not even show his worst one and the lowest football IQ play in the NFL last year Absolute inverse of what we need to see from JD
  5. We eating good when it comes to prospect access near draft day. Here is some insight on what JD goes through at mealtime Quick hitters -He eats beef! -Didn't care about nutrition until LSU -Working with a nutritionist to continue to build. -Luvs honey buns
  6. Lots of good meat on the bone in this one Couple of highlights for me -Said all these draft QBs have similar skillsets of being athletic, so JD does not comp to himself any harder than the other guys -Said he personally talked to JD about protecting himself better. Acknowledged that he himself was poor at sliding and when he finally reached that "ah ha" moment of needing to slide more in his own career, it was 2013 and the knee brace made it difficult. -Had a cool introspective about progressions and the virtual reality Jayden uses. It forces him to process faster by only making information available for a short period. -Spoke about how fast you gotta take info in at the NFL level, otherwise you get sacked. Spoke of JDs ability to eliminate routes from his tree based on coverage, which speeds you up
  7. Same place I've been the whole time. We come outta this w/ a blue chip QB I'm good. There are several available. Its like having a bunch of fish in a barrel. Can't miss. If we somehow walk outta without a blue chip QB... I got beef and its everybody's problem.
  8. I'm pretty sure Laron Landry went thru like puberty like 4 times. I'm just saying its possible
  9. A rookie who wants VETERAN minimum?! The absolute nerve! Take him off the draft board!
  10. He has to keep saying it for the people in the back Text from tweet: Reporter: “There’s speculation that you may not want to go to Washington. Do you want to just squash that?” Jayden Daniels: “I’m blessed to go wherever I’m called. Whoever calls my phone, (when the) commissioner gets up and says my name, I’ll be blessed, and they’re going to get my all.” Reporter (later): “To clarify, would you be OK being drafted by Washington?” JD: “Yeah. 100 percent.” During the lengthy interview, Daniels repeatedly said he’s not sure what to expect tomorrow night and wants to go as high as possible.
  11. Peeps just taking headline sensationalism and running with it to fit a narrative. He was directly asked about QBs that could run, and responded in kind. And as you posted, he and the article itself even clarified that he was more than just a running guy. Total nothingburger in terms of things to worry about in that article, unless you scissor snippets out of context as some people have just to make it fit your point. Speaking of snipping things out of context from that article, you guys wanna know what passage I liked? YES. Yes to all of that. Recognize and work on it my guy
  12. I have repeatedly and unsubtle-ly recommended that he be hunted like human game by a slide coach who just happens to be a near religious zealot in his determination to see Jayden improve his slide form. Jayden has flaws and concerns. I see a bunch. I would honestly question the evaluation ability of someone was to review a prospect and not come away with a laundry list of issues on any project. In regards to injury possibility specifically, while JD is the bigger injury risk, I feel much better going in that direction when the other guy is also a decent candidate to get his head taken off at the next level as well. Maye sux at protecting himself too and has seen his way to the blue tent all the same. Kinda helps mitigate that specific fear when its gonna be a problem regardless... if that makes sense.
  13. I won't link the vid b/c it delves into some non-stadium topics, but Rich Eisen was talking to RG3 about the top QBs Rich straight up asks Griff about RG3 phobia from the Washington fanbase when specifically looking at JD. Cliffnotes -Griff thanked him for asking b/c a lot of people were afraid to. -Said that he himself has heard often that there are fans in washington scared of JD because he reminds them of himself -He said the first thing to focus on is that JD is better than he was coming outta college "point-blank period" -Followed with all the QBs in this draft class are athletic. Its the new prototype for NFL QBs. They all extend plays, they all put themselves in harms way at times. -Dont use what happened to himself against JD -Was confident Wash fans would want another 2012 -Just enjoy what is in front of you -Guys are always gonna get hurt, cant stop it even w/ all the new rules. Referenced Burrow directly.
  14. I think that Scout D account is run by Maye's agent lol. That dude has been in the weeds this whole cycle. Hes a good and respectable fighter/football player, but he can't go super sayian so he's virtually useless against big-bads/winning championships. Boom
  15. That's a question better suited for someone who studied him. I watched zero film on the guy to know if he meets the baseline. I don't even know what the "JJ" stands for.
  16. I think your on the right track, at least for QB. Being great requires such high level thinking. You could have the best bod in the world but that only gets you so far in the NFL. Uber physical traits are still great and desired, but only if they come with other intangibles as well. Your not taking an Anthony Richardson when a CJ Stroud or Bryce Young is available, only in their absence. Now every other position? U can get the big dumb guy and turn out OK if he is a physical specimen. Gronk Smash
  17. If that is a sizable boon in Minns favor I'll prob change my prediction. They might just get the ammo to godfather NE.
  18. I smashed this same basic argument when we acquired Wentz. Dude was coming off a great QBR year but it is a virtually worthless metric when directly comparing QBs. They are all asked to do drastically different things. I don't care that Lamar had a great QBR, he could barely complete passes at the college level. He never had a season w/ more than 60% completion percentage. That is absurdly terrible. Lamar was a poor passer coming out of college. Great player. Had the potential for great impact, but a poor passer. Full stop. Any other determination is particularly laughable. End of the day, if you think you have an argument that a dude who was barely a first rounder and taken QB5 is the same level of prospect as a dude who is very likely going in the tippy top of the draft and scouts have rated higher than the better half of recent #1s then you need to re-evaluate your scouting method and stop incorporating what he has done once he entered the league. Lamar was not an elite prospect, or he would have been treated like one. He became one of the NFLs best players.
