  1. Two minutes is entirely too much time to go. Wentz can 100% screw this up, with 1:57 left on the clock.
  2. The play calling, the bad oline play and poor offensive performance can all be traced back to Wentz’s limitations. Turner can’t call a good game because Wentz can’t run it. They must make a change.
  3. Wentz missed several TD opportunities on that last drive - in the red zone, and he did so because he’s too slow to read his options. The 3rd down play to the back was a slam dunk, but Wentz was back there jumping the ball and missed the window by two seconds. Wentz sucks balls and the coaches know it. It being a short week is no excuse to not be here him today, and there’s zero risk in doing so. Rivera and Turner don’t have a football mind between the two of them.
  4. Maybe I’m overly critical, but every Wentz snap as seemed to be somewhere between a wing and a prayer to me. Slowly processed, slowly released and poorly executed - even on receptions. Maybe I’m goofy.
  5. Indy sure fleeced us good on this one. Turner can’t get to a 1/3 of his playbook with Carson’s limitations.
  6. There’s no reason (other than a whole lot of Dans money) for the Sam Howell era to not to start right now.
  7. Gibson is not a between the tackles runner, and he’s not beating anyone to the edges. Why these coaches game plan Gibson as a traditional back, I’ll never know. Rivera; nice guy, but a very average coach.
  8. Wentz is finished - there’s simply nothing left and the offensive play calling has been abhorrent.
  9. We just lost the game folks. …all on bull**** play calling.
  10. Creative on both sides of the ball, and then with a flip of the switch we’re back to looking outclassed. These coaches play timid.
  11. It’s not just DC either. Hampton Roads (namely Norfolk/VB) is off the chains right now. Multiple incidents of armed robbery/car jacking every day, in broad daylight. In the last week, three people who I’m close with have been involved in an armed robbery. The city of Norfolk is more than 200 cops short right now.
  12. What is wrong with this football team? Total mindlessness. I was less pissed about taking Haskins. FFS.
  13. We’ve heard that before, and there’s scant evidence that this time will be any different. In fact, Dan only gains power on the heels of these (mostly baseless), accusations. Don’t mistake me for a fan of Dan Snyder, but it’s a long bridge between being a crappy owner and an abuser/corporate thief. The latter of which nobody believes.
  14. TH just sealed the deal for me. He’s little more than a scrappy Rex Grossman. We still need a QB.
  15. Taylor and Gibson were deeply impacted by a Raiders defense that was determined to smack them in the mouth - especially in the 3rd quarter. It took both of them a quarter to shake off the sting and we prevailed. That is all.
  16. Gibson and TH took some monster licks and kept bringing it - good for them.
  17. It’s water under the bridge, but we missed an opportunity to have a legacy situation with the Shanahans. Mike should’ve been welcomed to stay until he was ready to give the reins to Kyle. Whatever they wanted, Dan should have given it to them.
  18. We’re driving home from the Va-Tech game so I’m following along from the drivers seat. We also got to spend the weekend with our daughter while we were up there, even got to meet our potential Governor, Glen Youngkin at the tailgate. It’s such a relief that we’re not sitting on our couch watching trash football our TV. life is good.
  19. This isn’t a serious football team - at any position on the field. With the exception of Mickissic and Mclaurin, everyone is playing in quicksand. This team is pedestrian and the coaching/scheme seems antiquated.
  20. I’ts not about either player as much as it is that we can’t establish a sound ground game and stick to it. Neither of these two games was it necessary throw the ball as much as we did. Moreover, with four minutes left, we should’ve been able to grind it out, rather than turn the ball over on our end of the field with a mindless throw.
  21. Aside from the W, there’s nothing good to take away from this game. The D backfield is as bad as any that I’ve seen. It looks like teams have found a way to neutralize our pass rush and we have no identity at the RB. Lastly, it feels like Coach is back in his experiment phase with roster rotation. We’re a bad football team.
